Once Yanny and Cindy changed into the staff’s uniform, they headed toward the 888VIP room with the alcohol they ordered.
Yanny glanced at the list of orders. ‘Damn, a few hundred thousand bucks on one night’s worth of alcohol. This bar's VIP rooms surely make money on drinks alone.’
Yanny could not help but ridicule, “This Cameron Yaeger that you like, boy, is he extravagant.”
Cindy replied plainly, “He’s a renowned celebrity, so isn’t it normal to order drinks that cost a few hundred thousand bucks?”
That was true as Shayne constantly changed his cars, and each of the cars cost more than a few million. It was more costly than any kind of alcohol.
Knock! Knock! Knock!
Yanny and Cindy knocked on the door.
There were many people in the room. Cameron was the birthday boy, so he invited a bunch of friends over.
One of the pretty girls heard the knocks on the door and said, “I think that would be our drinks. I’ll open the door.”
Cindy walked in front and Yanny followed suit. She lowered her head slightly as she was afraid Cameron would recognize her.
The good thing was that the room was dim and rowdy. The sound from the karaoke machine was loud and the room was in a mess, so no one noticed the two of them.
Yanny and Cindy carried the tray and bent down to put the drinks in the tray on the short coffee table.
“Mister Yaeger, your drinks are all here. Please swipe your card on the POS machine.”
Cameron took his card out, swiped on the machine, and signed on it.
Cindy raised her head and pretended to be a fan. She looked at Cameron in shock. “Mister Yaeger, y… you’re that famous movie star Cameron Yaeger right? I have seen many of your films and dramas! You’re much more good-looking in person! Can I have a picture with you?”
Cameron was stunned for a while, then he teased, “Miss, are you the paparazzi?”
“I… I’m not! I’m truly your fan!”
Cameron did not mind and said generously, “Well, I’m in a good mood today, so let’s take a quick one.”
Cindy’s heart immediately burst with joy. Her idol had such a good temper. She immediately fished out her phone and turned on her beauty camera app.
She approached Cameron and snapped quite a few shots with him!
This was the famous Cameron Yaeger standing right in front of her! Cindy’s hand trembled while taking the photos.
In the photos, her grin was so wide that the corners of her lips almost reached her temples!
When she was done, Cindy said sincerely, “Mister Yaeger, don’t worry, I’ll edit the photos nicely.”
Cameron joked, “Are you saying I’m not good-looking enough, that my photos have to be edited?”
“No, no! You’re exquisite enough! Even in front of the camera, you’re still extremely handsome!”
A girl who was sitting on the sofa said, “Cameron, let them go, it’s time to cut the cake!”
Cindy grabbed her phone, smiled, and said flatteringly, “Yes, yes, we will leave immediately. We won’t bother you any longer. Oh, by the way, Mister Yaeger, happy birthday!”
Cameron politely smiled and replied, “Thank you.”
At a corner, a pair of sharp eyes were staring at a figure.
Shayne did not expect that Yanny would be working here at the bar.
For the past six months, life must be tough for her ever since she left him. She even had to work part-time at a bar.
At that thought, Shayne was suddenly no longer angry and was inexplicably delighted.
Seeing how bad of a situation she was in after leaving him, he was relieved.
Just as Cindy finished taking photos with Cameron and dragged Yanny along to leave, a man’s cold, low voice suddenly rang through from the corner of the room, “Hold up.”
Cindy and Yanny were puzzled.
‘Why does this voice sound so familiar?’ Yanny thought. She subconsciously turned her head and looked. She immediately locked eyes with a pair of cynical, deep, black eyes.
Shayne.
Yanny’s heart skipped a few beats and instantly felt a tingle on her scalp.
‘People constantly meet their enemies but why am I so unlucky?’
Cindy, naturally, noticed Shayne as well. Her jaws dropped and she subconsciously covered her mouth.
How could they forget that Shayne was one of Cameron’s close friends? Cameron was celebrating his birthday, so there was a high possibility that Shayne would be there as well.
Seeing their reactions, Cameron looked at Shayne and asked, “What... you all know each other?” It was only then that Cameron sized them up.
‘Damn, isn’t this Yanny Joy?’
Cameron suddenly realized that something exciting was about to happen.
Shayne uncrossed his legs and sat up straight, but that still could not hide his domineering aura. He looked at Yanny mischievously. He furrowed his brows lightly and instructed impatiently, “What are you standing there for, serve us drinks.”
Cindy immediately went over to open the bottle of alcohol.
However, Shayne’s eyes were still glaring at Yanny. “I meant her. I did not ask for you.”
Cindy smiled awkwardly. She wanted to dismiss him and say, “Sir, isn’t it the same no matter who serves the alcohol?” However, she did not dare to do so.
Yanny tugged on Cindy’s hand. She took a deep breath, looked up directly at Shayne, and said, “Our bar does not include corkage service. You’d have to tip for that.”
Shayne smiled sorrowfully and thought to himself, ‘Hmph, you even have to tip for corkage service.’
He took out a stack of cash and threw it on the table. “Open the alcohol, serve, and feed me. The money will be yours.”
The stack of cash was more than 30 thousand bucks.
Yanny thought that it would be a waste not to not take it. After all, it was just opening a bottle of alcohol.
She opened the bottle of alcohol with a bottle opener and poured the alcohol into a small decanter in front of Shayne.
Once it was filled, Yanny then poured the alcohol from the decanter into a glass. She put the glass close to Shayne’s mouth.
In the dimly lit room, she approached him, and with a soft voice only the two of them could hear, she said, “Master Shayne, drink up.”
Then, Yanny raised her eyebrows in bare provocation.
