Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1074

By the time Yanny turned around, she was already wearing an extremely polite and clear smile on her face as she said, "Long time no see."

When she broke up with Samuel back when she was sixteen, she had once imagined all kinds of scenarios of her reunion with him. However, she never imagined that she would be reuniting with Samuel in such a tense setting.

The dim orange street lamps illuminated Yanny's face while Samuel stared at her. He finally cracked a helpless chuckle as he said, "I actually thought that this wouldn't be the first thing you say to me upon reuniting with each other.

Yanny was puzzled as she stared at him with a curious look while Samuel stared intensely back at her as he said, "I thought that you're going to say that you miss me instead."

'It's been five years.'

The man had completely disappeared from her life from when she was sixteen until she was twenty-one years old.

Yanny chuckled gently and seemed calm as she said, "I can't bring myself to say that to an ex who has disappeared from my life for five years."

"I know that I've… wronged you back then."

Yanny had no intentions in reminiscing about the old days with him nor did she wish to linger about all kinds of events they missed out on in the past as she said, "All of that is in the past now and it's getting late. I need to head home now."

Just as Yanny was about to reach out and take Samuel's jacket off, Samuel hugged her shoulder and said, "Let me send you home. It's really difficult to call a cab at this hour."

Yanny did not refuse him since her make up looked very intricately detailed while she was wearing a thin ball gown. It was a cold winter night and she would only look like a complete fool if she was to stand in the cold night street all by herself.

She did not want to go viral the next day as the headline could read, [Woman in a ball gown caught standing in the cold night while meeting a mysterious lover.]

Samuel drove his car toward her before opening the door to the co-driver's seat for her. Yanny did not say much and entered the car.

The black Bentley drove at a slow pace on the road.

Samuel said, "I've paid close attention to you all these years and I heard that you've become the main female lead for Larry Cross' 'Black and White.' It's airing this coming Spring?"

Yanny nodded gently. "Yeah."

It was a calm reply.

"Why must you sell yourself off to Shayne Jinn?" Samuel bluntly asked.

Yanny's reply was blunt too. "I did it all for fame and money."

The flashing lights shone through the windows and flashed across Samuel's handsome face. His expressions looked as complicated as his turbulent emotions at the moment.

He knew he owed her way too much for parting with her for five whole years.

The black Bentley suddenly pulled over at the side of the road.

Yanny looked cold and emotionless.

Samuel then turned around and looked at her before saying, "Can you please give me one more chance to make things right for you, Hillary? I won't ever let you go again this time and I will give you the home you always wanted."

Yanny chuckled and said, "Do you know what's the biggest problem between us?"

"We missed out on five years and if you're willing, we can make up our lost time. Me leaving without saying a word which caused you to suffer so much back then was absolutely my fault."

Yanny chuckled bitterly while shaking her head as she continued to raise her head and look at him before saying, "I'm Yanny now and yet you still call me Hillary. Look Samuel, if we missed out, it's all too late now. You don't even know what my name is right now so what makes you think that you can confidently say that we still can make up our lost time?"

"Yanny…"
