Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1096

Immediately after both Lina and Cara returned to the Jacob family, they grew incredibly furious when they noticed the huge shady acacia tree that was planted in the courtyard of the Jacob family home.

Cara grabbed a huge cleaver and started to violently slash at the huge acacia tree, leaving behind plenty of slash marks on its trunk.

However, the tree was unmoved as it stood firm and still.

As Cara stared at the tree, her eyes turned red from her fury as she exclaimed, "Mom, Yanny is no longer a part of our Jacob family anymore, so why should we even keep this acacia tree around in our courtyard?!"

Ever since Lina got married into the Jacob family home, the first thing she detested was the acacia tree and the next was none other than Yanny.

Although Yanny had successfully been exiled from the Jacob family, somehow the tree was still around.

Lina scoffed and said, "Since Yanny had already left, there's no reason to keep a tree that had been planted by a dead person around! I'll contact an excavating company to uproot this tree and move it away!"

It seemed that after the tree had been completely uprooted, no traces of Yanny and her mother would be left in the Jacob family home.

It did not take long for Lina to contact an excavating company to come over and uproot the tree. A bulldozer, a crane and a big truck came over soon after and it looked like they were about to have the entire Jacob family home levelled.

Uncle Johnny, the Jacob family's caretaker was completely stunned when he noticed the commotion as he rushed over and asked, "What are you doing, Madam?"

Lina scoffed and rolled her eyes at Uncle Johnny before saying, "We're cleaning up after your previous master, so this tree has to go!"

Uncle Johnny felt bad when he looked at the pleasant looking acacia tree as he said, "Madam, this acacia tree looks really nice though and it doesn't really obstruct you in any way. Besides, this tree provides shade for guests in the courtyard. Why are you uprooting it?"

"The only fault about this tree was that it was previously planted by Quincy. Uncle Johnny, I am the mistress of the Jacob family, so am I really not allowed to uproot this single crappy looking tree? I suggest that you know your place as a servant and stay out of things you shouldn't have gotten involved in!"

The worker from the excavating company yelled out from the bulldozer, "Hey, are we still getting rid of it or not?"

"Yes! Go ahead!"

Lina led Cara away and allowed the bulldozer to ruthlessly uproot the acacia tree.

As the acacia tree was slowly being lifted away from the ground, the satisfaction of finally getting revenge grew stronger while she cracked a cold and sinister grin.

Upon noticing what was happening, Uncle Johnny slipped away and could not help but call Yanny in a corner of the backyard.

"Madam Yanny, this is bad, Madam Lina and Madam Cara hired an excavating company to uproot the acacia tree in the courtyard!"

Yanny had sworn to protect the acacia tree with her life when she was eight.

Yanny's expression turned bitter when she heard that as she said, "Thanks for informing me, Uncle Johnny. I'll head over to the Jacob family home right away."

Shayne noticed Yanny's bitter look after her phone call ended as he asked, "What happened?"

"I need to head over to the Jacob family home right now. Both Lina and Cara were extremely furious over what happened today and they wanted to vent their anger on the tree my biological mother planted when she was still alive. They have already started to uproot the tree and I need to stop them."

"I'll go with you."

When both Shayne and Yanny arrived at the Jacob family mansion, the acacia tree had already been fully uprooted in the courtyard as it laid pitifully on a pile of lifeless dirt.
