Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1121

Samuel pinched his forehead upon hearing Yanny’s firm tone and said, “But Shayne is clearly hiding because he doesn’t want to see you. If he really wants to be responsible for you, he wouldn’t have to hide in a place to avoid you finding him. Yanny, although I’m not very close to Shayne, I’m sure he’s not someone that you can share the rest of your life with judging by how he used you as leverage at the casino in front of so many. Just think of it as me giving you a piece of advice as a friend. I don’t want you to fall into this prodigal’s trap.”

“I had some misunderstandings with him then. It’s hard to explain everything to you right now. I don’t need him to be responsible for me. I’m an adult so I’ll be responsible for my own feelings towards him. About him hiding, it’s not because he doesn’t want to see me. He simply wants an answer from me, a clear answer. Samuel, thank you for advising me as a friend. However, I’m an adult. I’ll take full responsibility for the relationship I choose.”

Listening to Yanny’s firm tone, Samuel laughed and said, “Yanny, I guess I’ve completely lost your love at this point, right?”

Samuel, who was always cocky, could not believe that Yanny would totally cut him out from her life. She emptied her heart and gave it to another guy.

Yanny said, “One will meet many people who make their heart flutter in their life. You might meet someone stunning when you’re young and mistake it for love. Actually, it’s just a temporary feeling. After all, a fluttering heart is never the answer. Love is having your heart set on someone. Samuel, I did have a crush on you but that was all I ever felt for you. I was silly to become obsessed with you for years after that. I kept asking myself what did I do wrong for you to give up on me? It wasn't my obsession with you but I just couldn't spare myself. It was only after you came back that I realized I simply had a small crush on you back then and thought it was a pity our teenage love did not work out."

"But it wasn't just a simple crush for me. For the past two years, I was afraid that I might stress you out and you’d leave me if I kept questioning you. Because of that, I kept approaching you as a friend to ease your tension. However, my love for you never changed. Yanny, our teenage love is true love to me. Can we...start over again?"

Yanny pursed her lips and kept silent for a few moments. Finally, she replied, "You did me wrong once and we're over now."

Yanny hung up after saying that.

Two hours later, the taxi stopped in front of a private mansion on a hill.

Yanny got out of the taxi with her luggage in her hands and walked uphill.

The mansion’s door was opened. Yanny knocked on the door symbolically but no one answered so she went inside.

The mansion was enormous. The first thing that she saw after she entered was a huge vineyard. A blue sea was located behind the mansion with nothing blocking her view. She felt like she could literally breathe in the landscape.

Besides the grapevine corridor in the front yard was a huge swimming pool. Next to the swimming pool were two tables and chairs made of Japanese vines. Half a cup of leftover champagne was placed on the table.

It seemed like Shayne had been sunbathing there earlier.

Yanny barged into the mansion. The mansion door was wide open and the mansion had an idyllic American interior design. The bright sunlight illuminated every corner of the house and the mansion itself was furnished with a French window. Through it, one could see the amazing seascape as well as the landscape outside in just one glance.

The mansion was extremely huge and built on an expensive resort island. Moreover, the mansion must have cost a few billion bucks.

She must be right. This was most definitely Shayne’s private mansion.

Surfing equipment was piled up in a corner of the backyard.

Yanny always knew that Shayne was a big fan of extreme sports such as diving, surfing, bungee jumping, and racing. He was an expert in such dangerous sports.

Shayne was not in the mansion. He must be surfing in the sea.

Yanny put down her luggage and started searching for him by the seaside.

There were some people on the beach but it was not very crowded.

A few foreigners with blond hair were sitting on the beach chairs by the seaside. They were enjoying their orange juice and sunbathing while they chatted away.

Yanny stood on the beach and looked out to the sea. There were a few surfers in the sea but they were too far away. Yanny did not bring a telescope with her so she could not see whether Shayne was in the sea.

Yanny put her hands around her mouth and shouted across the sea, “Shayne Jinn! Shayne Jinn!”

Shayne, who was surfing in the sea, thought he was hearing voices. He kept hearing someone calling him on the beach. He frowned, squinting his eyes as he looked back. It was then that he saw a familiar figure on the beach.
