Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 1122

Mrs. Jinn.

This was the best nickname Yanny had ever gotten in her entire life.

Yanny smiled as she reached out her hand to hold Shayne’s.

Their fingers intertwined as they were both filled with warmth and satisfaction. They felt so safe staying by each other’s side. It was a captivating feeling.

The couple walked toward Shayne’s private mansion.

Yanny looked forward and asked calmly, “You once said that you wanted to marry me. Do you still feel that way?”

Shayne turned his head to look at her with a teasing gaze. He said half-seriously, “Although I seem like a playboy, I don’t go around giving girls false promises and playing with their emotions just so they’ll be stuck with me. I always mean what I say.”

Yanny did not question him. She knew Shayne’s character very well. “Let’s get married then.”

Yanny kept a faint smile on her face all this while. Her smile was warm and determined.

It was as though she was saying ‘The weather’s good today. Let’s go out,’ during their leisure time.

Shayne was stunned. He never thought Yanny would mention such an important thing in such a calm manner. It was as though she was suggesting something unimportant. However, her gaze was so soft, yet so determined.

She made the decision after careful consideration, not out of impulse simply because she was too excited after their reunion.

Shayne kept silent for a few moments. His heart was beating furiously in between his ribcage.

That was the fourth time in his life he had ever felt his heart beating so fast. It was because Yanny said they should get married.

Yanny realized he was quiet for quite some time, so she said teasingly, “Master Shayne, are you afraid?”

The red sunset hovered over Shayne’s figure. He stopped in his tracks and stared into her eyes. He said word by word seriously. “A man should be the one proposing. As for marriage, I was indeed afraid of it back then. I never looked forward to it, neither did I have any fantasies about marriage. Because of it, I was always a celibate. But after meeting you, I thought I’d rather die in the grave of marriage than dying alone as a celibate.”

“Moreover…” Shayne smirked and said proudly, “Since you’re dying to marry me, I wouldn’t be considered a man if I were to reject you. Therefore, do as you wish.”

Yanny gave him a faint smile. “Mr. Jinn, I hope you’ll look out for me in the coming days.”

Shayne lifted Yanny and spun her around. He only put her down when she felt dizzy. He pressed his forehead against hers and said, “If this is what I get after waiting for you for two years, I would like to thank the past two years.”

His voice was low but his heart fluttered uncontrollably.

It certainly occurred to Shayne that Yanny would come looking for him and they would end up getting married one day.

However, he never imagined that Yanny would take the initiative to propose to him.

Never did he think that this day would come so soon.

Shayne cupped her face with his large hands and lowered his head to kiss her. He asked in his hoarse voice, “Are you willing to marry me even if I don’t have a diamond ring for you?”

“Yes.”

Shayne laughed. “It’s impossible for Master Shayne’s woman to not get a ring.”

Shayne lifted Yanny over his shoulder as soon as he was done walking. After that, he strode toward the mansion.

Yanny was shocked as her body was suddenly lifted up. Amused, she asked, “Shayne, what are you doing?”

“I’m bringing my wife back home so I can help her put on her ring!”

Yanny was always a thick-faced person, yet she blushed upon hearing Shayne’s words.

Shayne carried Yanny all the way back to the mansion.

She put Yanny down on a cane chair under the beach umbrella in the yard. After that, he lowered his body and pressed a kiss on her cheek as he said dotingly, “Mrs. Jinn, give me a second. I’ll be right back.”

“Where are you going?”

Shayne stood up and ran into the mansion without even looking back. He came back to the yard after three minutes.
