Yash Company, the president's office.
"President Quain, the deputy director of the Fudd Group’s Creative Department called just now and said that Verian Mont was exempted from the competition because she copied Nancy Xander's work. I heard that Verian Mont has refused to accept it and resigned in anger."
Resigned?
An idea flashed through Yanni Quain's amber-colored eyes as he said, "It just so happens that our company is short of an excellent original artist like Miss Mont."
The assistant let out a puzzling "ha?". She had committed plagiarism and was still considered good?
What was Mr. Quain thinking in his heart?
Could it be that he was really into Verian Mont?
...
After Verian Mont returned to the Fudd family, she packed up all her belongings.
Madam Leah heard the sound of clamoring from the upstairs bedroom. She walked up to have a look and saw that Verian was packing her luggage as if she was about to leave the Fudd house. She was startled. "Third young madam, what… What are you doing?"
"Madam Leah, Heaton and I have never obtained a marriage certificate; we were just pretending to be a couple. However, starting from today, I will not pretend to be his wife anymore."
Madam Leah was confused about what she had just heard. "Third young madam, what are you talking about? If you are gone, how about Little Jelly Bean?"
When she mentioned Little Jelly Bean, Verian felt a dull pain in her heart. She took a deep breath and looked at Madam Leah sincerely. "Madam Leah, I know that you have a good heart. After I leave the Fudd family, I’ll leave Little Jelly Bean in your hands. Please take care of her. Her mother was not by her side since she was a child. Although I know that Heaton spoils her a lot but Heaton is really busy at work and he can’t take Little Jelly Bean’s feelings into account. I’m leaving this matter with you, Madam Leah."
Madam Leah anxiously said, "Third young madam, are you leaving now? Wait for the third young master to come back so that you guys can have a good talk..."
In the yard, the sound of a car engine could suddenly be heard, interrupting the conversation between Verian and Madam Leah.
Verian and Madam Leah looked into the yard at the same time. It was Heaton's car.
Heaton walked into the room with a cold expression on his face.
Madam Leah showed a slight smile and said, “Third young madam, third young master is back. You guys can have a good talk!"
Heaton's dark eyes glanced sharply at the suitcase in Verian's hands, anger rising in his heart as he coldly yelled, "Don't stop her! Let her leave!"
Verian's back stiffened as she stood there with the suitcase in her hand, stunned for a few seconds.
Heaton snorted coldly. "Don’t you want to leave? Why aren't you leaving?"
She bit her lip and dragged the suitcase in silence, walking toward the door. When she passed by him, Heaton clasped her wrist.
Verian raised her eyes and stared at him with a sneer. "President Fudd let me carry the blame of plagiarism just so I wouldn’t stay in the Fudd Group, so why are you still stopping me now?"
"Get out of my sight with the ring you wore."
Heaton threw the diamond ring in front of her. After he spoke, he strode upstairs, his handsome face dark and grim.
He did not look at Verian again.
Verian stood in the living room, looking down at the diamond ring lying quietly by her feet. Finally, she bent down to pick it up and handed the diamond ring to Madam Leah. "Madam Leah, this is his thing. Please hand it to him."
Madam Leah's face was filled with embarrassment. "This... Third young madam, what happened between you and third young master?"
Why did these two people suddenly become so incompatible?
...
Heaton stood by the full height window of the study on the second floor, staring coldly as Verian dragged her suitcase downstairs and left.
She did not drive the car he had given her, as if she wanted to completely separate from him.
Verian Mont, good for you!
