Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 129

Verian had stored the seashells she picked from Regent Island into a glass mason jar. She gave it to Little Jelly Bean.

“Do you like it, Jelly Bean?”

Little Jelly Bean hugged onto the glass mason jar and cheerfully nodded her tiny head while speaking in a child-like tone, “I do!”

Heaton patted Little Jelly Bean’s tiny head and said, “Go on ahead to your room first, Jelly Bean. Daddy has something to say to Monty.”

Little Jelly Bean cheerfully carried the seashells upstairs.

Verian pouted her lips and said, “Heaton, I think we should take some time to calm down between us if we want to be together. We should both think about it on our own.”

Although on the surface they seemed to have reconciled on the days spent on Regent Island, Verian realized there were still plenty of hidden bumps between them.

If Heaton thought of her as Sammie’s replacement, then she would never be with him.

Moreover, she originally assumed she had one foot into his heart but now, she realized he was crystal clear about her past, her strengths, and weaknesses, but she knew nothing about him.

The most important thing in a relationship was an equal understanding as it was the most basic foundation in a relationship. However, Heaton seemed like a bottomless abyssal puddle. It was completely pitch black and devoid of anything else in front of her.

Heaton held onto her wrist and pulled her into him. “Calm down? Was it not calm enough on Regent Island? How much more calmer do you wish to get?”

“Heaton, don’t you think we’re not like normal couples? Your love is solely on my physical body…”

The man’s dark pearly eyes trembled as he held onto her hand harder. It hurt her.

“So this is how you view our relationship?”

As their eye met, both sets were filled with nothing but rage. None were calm.

When Verian thought about how he had called out to ‘Sammie’ over and over again at night, she did not know if she was angry or jealous in her heart, or if she felt self-hatred for not having fought hard enough. Complicated feelings were mixed within her. “Was it not?I feel like I’m not your girlfriend and I’m only your bedmate for your physical needs!”

When he was happy, he would hug and kiss her but when he was not, he would want her to leave him as far away as possible to not disturb him. Were these needs even normal?

“Verian Mont!”

The man was furious and his expression was as cold as ice!

“It’s late now and I need to go home.”

The man pulled her back and said, “This is your home! What do you mean by going home!”

While biting her lips, Verian said, “Weren’t you viewing me as nothing more than your mate to keep your bed warm? Whichever friend I choose to have would require your permission. I’m required to watch your mood so this is not even my home!”

If this was her home, why should she love to reduce herself so much?

As she was just about to break free from him, she was immediately pushed onto the couch while Heaton continued looking bitter!

“Do you know what a bedmate is?” He would not mind showing her what exactly a bedmate was!

Verian was so startled by his cold tone that she started to tremble violently. The man’s movements were incredibly barbaric as his gaze was even more terrifying.

Hence, Verian was suddenly terrified. “Heaton Fudd… You can’t treat me like this…”

“Weren’t you saying you were a bedmate!!”

It was only because he was actually insane that he had gone to Regent Island to look for her!

Without mentioning that he had almost lost his life, his old wounds were ripped open, causing him to lose control of his emotions!

In order to bring her back to the Fudd family home, he was ready to give up his life only to receive such heartless words from her!

With a loud rip, Verian’s shirt was ripped open and one by one, her shirt buttons fell onto the couch before rolling onto the ground below. She screamed out in a very sad and depressing tone.
