Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 141

A black Maybach stopped in front of Verian Mont.

Initially, it was Sunny Shea who blocked her way, and now it was Heaton Fudd’s car. She really had terrible luck that day!

Kush Xavier got out of the car and walked around it to open the door for her, respectfully saying, “Miss Mont, the boss is still in the hospital. Please come with me as he requested me to drive you there.”

Verian looked at Kush frostily. “Assistant Xavier, please tell him that we are done. Besides, I am not free right now. I need to go to work.”

Kush felt awkward. Touching his nose, he said with a pitiful tone, “Miss Mont, please just come with me. If you don’t, the boss will take it out on me.”

Verian was usually an easy person, but on that very day, she was not her normal self. Her attitude was stern. “Assistant Xavier, it is up to you how you want to explain to him, but I do need work. I’m leaving now.”

Feeling defeated, Kush called Heaton Fudd, speaking hesitantly, “Boss, Miss Mont said…”

On the other end, Heaton did not sound surprised at all. “She doesn’t want to come?”

“Y-yes… Miss Mont said that she needs to go to work and she’s not free.”

“Then you don’t need to come either.”

“…”

Kush wiped away his cold sweat.

“B-but Boss, it is Miss Mont who didn’t want to come…” He could not just tie her up and bring her to the Boss, could he?

Coincidentally, Heaton said frostily, “I don’t care how you bring her to me even if you have to tie her up!”

“…”

Five minutes later, Verian Mont was in the backseat with a rope tied around her.

Verian’s face was filled with anger as she struggled with all her might. “Kush Xavier! Loosen the rope!

Kush Xavier looked at her embarrassedly through the rearview mirror. Terrified, he said, “Miss Mont, please forgive me. It was the boss’s order. If you become Mrs. Fudd in the future, please don’t punish me. I’m only doing this for my livelihood, I have no choice…”

Verian did not believe a word of his nonsense! Kush hung around Heaton all year long. He was smarter than he looked! Just like Heaton, he was calculative to the core!

When they arrived at the People’s General Hospital, Kush did not loosen her up, worried that she would run away. He held the rope on one end and led her to Heaton Fudd’s room.

All the doctors, nurses, and patients in the hospital were gawking at Verian. Those who did not know might have thought that she was a mental patient with unpredictable behaviors that needed to be restrained!

Verian gritted her teeth as her anger blew through the roof!

‘Heaton Fudd, you bastard!’

When Kush finally brought Verian to the ward, Heaton Fudd raised his head and saw her. His dark eyes seemed surprised.

“Who the hell asked you to tie her up?!” His voice was freezing cold.

Kush Xavier was drenched in cold sweat. He really hoped that he would have a chance to explain his agony. ‘Didn’t you ask me to tie her up and bring her to you? How am I the one to blame now?’

Verian sneered, “Heaton Fudd, no need to act like the good guy. Don’t tell me you didn’t ask Assistant Xavier to tie me up.” If it was not for his instructions, why would Kush Xavier do something that ridiculous?

Heaton Fudd frowned and told Kush Xavier, “You. Get out and close the door.”

Kush understood and scrammed out of the room with full finesse standing guard outside. Surely, he understood what Heaton meant. If Verian Mont tried to escape, he would help the Boss to stop her.

Inside the room, the two had a confrontation.

Verian Mont refused to go to his bedside. She stared at him frostily with her hands still bound.

Heaton’s handsome face was just as cold, but he lowered his head first and finally broke the silence. “Come.”
