Was he going to marry Sam or Lain?
Verian stood up and walked into the room depressingly.
Little Jelly Bean, who was on the other end of the phone, frowned with her soft and tender brows. “Daddy, who is this wife of yours? Do I know her?”
Heaton’s line of sight followed Verian into the room as he answered with a soft tone, “Yeah, you do. You’ll meet her in two days.”
Heaton then chit chat with Little Jelly Bean. After giving her some orders, Heaton hung up the call and entered the bedroom.
All he could see was Verian standing next to the window, seeming slightly depressed.
Heaton approached her, gently hugging her waist from behind. “What’s wrong?”
Was he still asking?
Verian glared at him, and the edges of her eyes were red. “Since you’ve been thinking about Sam in your heart all this while, why did you still approach me? Heaton Fudd, I can’t play against you…”
The man stared intently with his dark eyes. After staring for a really long time, he finally questioned her, “In these ten years, it’s true that I’ve always missed Sam, but it was merely me missing her. As for approaching you though, I’m pretty sure you came to me first?”
Verian was speechless.
Verian was already crying but oddly enough, she felt guilty after he mentioned that point. Her tiny face blushed.
The woman felt slightly annoyed. She said, “Fine, even if I came approaching you first, I can't now, so does that mean I’m also unable to hide from you?”
She pretended as if she were leaving. Heaton frowned as he grabbed onto her slender wrist. “Why are you leaving?”
Did she wish to run away from home again?
“Verian Mont, if you dare to leave, I will never come looking for you in the future ever again.”
Verian was speechless.
