Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 381

At the dining table during dinner time.

Old Master Fudd sat at the master's seat. Heaton and his family of three were to his right, while Lain and Nancy sat opposite them.

"Come on, let's eat."

Little Jelly Bean blinked her huge eyes as she picked up her kiddie spoon and chopsticks before she politely said, "Grandpa, you'll eat first. We'll only eat after you've begun."

Old Master Fudd chuckled delightfully as he said, "How thoughtful of you, Little Jelly Bean. Let's eat; the food won't taste as good when it's cold."

Since Heaton could not see anything, Verian helped him put food on his plate.

Lain noticed Verian was using her own chopsticks to get food for Heaton, so she reminded her, "Verian, Heaton has always been a germaphobe. Use a pair of common-use chopsticks to get food for him."

Verian was stunned. It was not as if she was unwilling to use the shared chopsticks; she only thought it was too troublesome to do so.

As she was about to reach out for the common-use chopsticks, Heaton said, "What's wrong with a couple sharing a pair of chopsticks? We've done much worse."

Verian was speechless.

How could that man be so blunt?

She blushed as she used her own chopsticks to get food for Heaton.

Lain clenched her fist.

Little Jelly Bean looked up at them and curiously asked, "Daddy, what kind of worse things you've done with Monty? Why don't I know anything about it?"

Heaton did not avoid the question. He did not hesitate at all when he said, "Kisses."

Verian was dumbstruck again.

Little Jelly Bean smiled delightfully as she squinted her eyes. She held onto her tiny spoon, and smugly said, "I've kissed daddy too!"

It was an embarrassing topic, so Verian tried to change it. "The fish is not bad. Would you like to try some?"

Heaton simply nodded as he waited patiently for Verian to give him some fish.

Old Master Fudd said, "This is a Crucian Carp. It's very boney, so be careful when you guys eat it."

Verian carefully deboned the fish. Since the fish was stuck to her chopsticks and she could not put them into Heaton's bowl, she decided to feed him with her chopsticks.

So, Heaton opened his mouth and ate the fish.

Both of them seemed loving with one another, and it did not appear as if they were embarrassed about it. They also looked like they had been married for a long time and had exceptional companionship.

Lain and Nancy cringed at the lovebirds. Both of the ladies sat directly across from them.

Little Jelly Bean looked at Verian and pouted. "Monty, I want some fish too!"

"Alright, let me pick the bones out first. I don't want you to choke on them."

Verian did that very carefully. After she made sure the fish was utterly bone-free, she fed it to Little Jelly Bean.

"How's the taste?"

Verian took care of both the adult and child throughout the meal.

When Verian placed a piece of kale in Heaton's bowl, Lain said, "Heaton doesn't like kale."

Verian frowned. How could that man be such a picky eater?

From parsley to hotpot to kale, just how fussy was he?

However, Heaton picked the kale from his bowl and casually said, "I've changed. I happened to like kale now."

Lain gritted her teeth, but she still kept a reluctant smile on her face.

She wanted to see if Heaton had changed because of Verian.

Little Jelly Bean had quite the appetite. She scooped her food and drank her juice as she continued to eat. She was completely stuffed.

Verian patted her head and said, "You ate extremely well today."

The little rascal had a smug look on her face as she reached out to touch Verian's belly with her tiny hand. She asked, "Monty, is my little brother full too?"

Verian was stunned for a brief second.
