Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 412

Serene ran out of the Coastal City Condominium crying. She dashed across the road and nearly got hit by an oncoming car.

Luckily, Wilson was there on time and he immediately pulled her into his embrace to avoid such tragedy.

The driver of the white van stopped his car and cursed at Serene, “Do you not have a f*cking pair of eyes?! If you want to die, go ahead and die somewhere else. Don’t dash in front of cars and cause trouble to others!”

Wilson stared at him with his cold, keen eyes. When the driver noticed that Wilson was not someone he could provoke, he furiously drove away.

Serene pushed him away forcefully. Her eyes were full of hatred and disgust toward him!

“Let go of me! Don’t touch me! Wilson Jarret! You bastard! You already have a wife, why do you still want to flirt with me!”

Not only he flirted with her but he also slept with her!

Serene’s body was trembling in anger. She felt as if her heart was stabbed vigorously with a knife. Her heart felt like it was slashed into pieces with blood gushing out from her heart.

Wilson let her abuse him as she wished. “Babe, Ruby and I aren’t really husband and wife.”

“Don’t call me babe anymore! Wilson Jarret! I will never believe a word you say now! Do you know it’s considered an affair?! I’m a good girl and I’ve never become a mistress before. As for what we've done yesterday and the things that happened before, just take it as if we’ve made a mistake. I beg you, don’t look for me anymore. I will never become your mistress!”

Serene bit her lips and tears kept rolling down her cheeks. Feeling numb, she turned around and left.

Wilson stood on the spot and took a deep breath. He then rubbed his brows, feeling irritated.

Damn it, Ruby really caused him a lot of trouble!

Wilson watched the little woman’s leaving figure. In the end, he was still worried about her and was unable to let go of her. With a couple of strides forward, he decided to chase after her again.

“I’ll send you back home.”

Serene flung his arms away forcefully. “Don’t touch me! You’re a married man! Mr. Jarret, please watch your behavior!”

Her eyes were red and full of hatred, grievance and sorrow…

Wilson felt helpless about it. He felt a dull pain in his heart as if someone punched him hard on the chest. “Okay, I won’t touch you but with your current state, I don’t feel at ease leaving you like this. I need to see you reach home safely in person.”

“My current state? It’s none of your business!”

Serene wiped away her tears and continued walking straight with her head bowed.

However, Wilson kept following her from behind. Hence, she had no choice but to call someone for help.

However, she did not know who to call for at that moment. There were a few colleagues who were close to her but they all knew Wilson and if word on this matter was to spread, it would not benefit anyone. The only life-saving straw she could think of was Verian.

“Verian, where are you? Can you come over and pick me up?”

Verian was preparing to sleep when she received the call. However, as she heard Serene’s out of breath cries over the phone, she started to worry and without questioning her any further, she asked for Serene’s location, called her driver and headed out at once.

Half an hour later, Verian picked Serene up.

While Verian was in the car, she lowered the window and greeted Wilson, “Doctor Jarret, then… we shall leave first.”

Choking on her tears, Serene nudged Verian impatiently. “Let’s go.”

She did not want to see him for even a second longer.

This big liar! Cheated her of her feelings!

Verian glanced over at Serene and shifted her gaze toward Wilson again. She would always side Serene no matter what. She then instructed her driver, “Uncle Lewis, let’s go.”

“Yes, madam.”

In the car, with a box of tissues in her hand, Serene was crying and her nose was red from blowing her nose frequently.

Verian comforted her, “Serene, don’t cry. Your eyes are puffy from crying.”

Serene pouted, “But I feel terrible now… Why am I so stupid… and silly? Verian, I just want to strangle myself to death right now!”

“What actually happened? Did Wilson bully you?”
