Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 449

Little Jelly Bean leaned on Verian's lap as she stared at Tyler furiously.

Tyler inched his handsome little face toward them as he stared at Little Jelly Bean. "Crybaby! You're a little crybaby!"

Little Jelly Bean snarled at him before she buried her little face into Verian. "I don't want to play with you anymore!"

Verian felt helpless as she reached out to pat the little rascal's back. "Hush now. Tyler is just playing with you."

Little Jelly Bean pouted and said, "No, he's not! He's a bad person!"

Helen pulled her son to her so that she could lecture him. "Little Jelly Bean, Aunty Helen will scold this little trouble maker for you, okay?"

Helen slapped her son playfully as Tyler played along. "Mom, you'd hit me for a stranger!"

Helen slapped him a little harder. "Who told you to bully Jelly Bean, you little troublemaker!"

When Little Jelly Bean heard the slapping sounds, she looked up from Verian's arms skeptically with her teary eyes. She sniffled and stopped crying.

Verian talked to Helen in the garden as Little Jelly Bean ran to the washroom to wash her hands. However, Tyler trailed behind her. He turned on the tap and splashed some water onto Little Jelly Bean's face. Little Jelly Bean was startled. When she finally reacted to it, she retaliated by splashing Tyler's face with water as well!

"Meanie!"

"Shortie!"

Little Jelly Bean grew even more furious when she heard him calling her a shortie. She glared at him. "I will grow taller in the future!"

"But you're a shortie now, and even if you grow taller in the future, I'd still be taller than you!"

"You are a meanie! Wait till my Daddy gets here. I'll tell him that you called me a shortie!"

Tyler continued to tease her. "Wait till my Daddy gets here; I'll tell him that you called me a meanie as well!"

"But you are a meanie!"

"And you are a shortie!"

Both Verian and Helen laughed hysterically as they watched their children's interaction.

Helen said as she stared at both children. "I think my son likes your daughter. Maybe our families would become in-laws in the future!"

"What if your son's feelings for her were not mutual?" Verian asked as she laughed.

"Even so, he'll have to pursue her successfully then. My son is good at many things, but he is also a little blunt. How could he be so intimidating to a girl he likes, right? I should give him a lecture later."

Helen was worried that if she did not teach him well now, he might actually annoy girls away from him in the future.

Verian replied honestly, "Tyler is a handsome kid, and when he grows up, many girls will swarm him. Even if they don't confess their feelings for him, he will serve as eye candy to many of them. There's no harm for him to be socially inept if he's handsome."

Helen said, "I like your Jelly Bean, so I'll make sure Jelly Bean becomes my son's wife!"

Verian laughed when she noticed how serious Helen looked. She said, "Helen, you wouldn't like to sign some marriage pact for the both of them now, would you?"

"Well, if you agree, I'd do it immediately!"

Verian waved her hands as she said, "Oh no, I don't dare to do such a thing. My husband absolutely adores Little Jelly Bean, and without his permission, I can't agree to your request."

When Heaton showed up to pick Verian up during their previous highschool reunion, Helen had met him, and that man seemed very cold. He did not seem like someone that one would cross.

Hence, Helen stopped talking about that.
