Just as the women gushed over the basketball players, the men approached them from behind.
Heaton glanced at Verian, who was utterly glued to the court. Then he shifted his gaze to the basketball player. He said, "Are they really that attractive to watch?"
Verian could tell that Heaton's mood had changed because she had focused her attention on the man with the number ten jersey. Verian cheered excitedly when the player dunked the ball into the net.
"Whoa, that was cool! The number ten player looks so handsome!"
Verian completely ignored Heaton as she took out her phone to snap some photos of the basketball players.
Heaton's expression turned bitter…
Naturally, Carter's expression looked bitter as well.
When he recognized their challenge ahead, Carter gestured at Heaton with his head.
All Tyler could see was menacing auras from his father and Uncle Heaton's bodies as they stormed into the basketball court.
Tyler pulled Little Jelly Bean, who was also focused on her eye candy, to the side and said, "Cherie, it looks like our dads are going to fight them! They have five people while there are only two of our dads! Should we go and help?"
Little Jelly Bean frowned as she looked at her father and Uncle Carter. She curiously asked, "Why are they fighting?"
Tyler rolled his eyes at her as he said, "Dummy! Look at our moms! Our dads must've felt jealous!"
Little Jelly Bean pouted as she said, "But beating someone is wrong."
Verian and Helen noticed their husbands entered the basketball court. They saw both of them talked to the basketball players as the players nodded their heads.
Verian and Helen looked at each other with a puzzled look.
"What are they up to?"
The corners of Verian's mouth twitched as she said, "They're men in their thirties. They wouldn't want to compete with those students, would they?"
Helen felt helpless amidst the chaos…
It seemed like it was exactly as they predicted.
Heaton and Carter wanted to compete with those students; they wanted to shoot hoops with them, one on one.
It did not take long for Verian to yell from outside the court, "Give 'em hell, honey!"
Heaton scored the very next second.
Little Jelly Bean clapped before she glared at Tyler. She said, "My daddy isn't fighting. My daddy is playing basketball with them!"
Tyler was speechless.
Little Jelly Bean yelled out in a childish tone, "Keep it up, Daddy! Daddy, you look so cool!"
Helen felt slightly bashful when she heard Verian cheered. When Carter scored a three-pointer, she also leaped and cheered, "Great one, Carter!"
Tyler stared at his mother, who gushed over his father so quickly. He pouted and hugged his little arm as he kept a stern look on his face. He would not cheer because that would be too embarrassing. A cheerleader was an incredibly foolish task for him.
The 'elderly men' in their thirties managed to keep up with the students on the court. However, due to the mature age, they looked even more attractive.
Their figure did not decline due to sitting in the office for so many years. They were fast when they played basketball, and they looked drastically different from when they were dressed formally as businessmen.
It was as if pink hearts popped out of Verian's eyes. She used to think Heaton was most attractive when dressed formally, but he looked even more attractive when he was dressed in a sports attire. He seemed trendier than usual and a lot younger too.
Helen, on the other hand, had never seen that side of her silent and introverted husband. Even though she had been married for three years and had a child with him, Helen's relationship with Carter was not as profound as Verian and Heaton.
Helen laughed and said, "I thought Heaton would not be able to keep up since he spent so much time in the office. It turns out he's amazing in basketball too."
Unable to keep up physically?
Verian blushed as she denied that statement in her heart. Even though she did not know how good Heaton was in sports, he was physically fit in bed…
"Speak for yourself. Didn't you tell me your husband is a regular salaryman? Isn't a normal salaryman constantly glued to their computers and don't exercise that much? I think Carter is physically fit too."
