Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 452

When Heaton heard what she said, he raised his brows.

'A look? And she dares talking about liking them? No.'

"Are they as attractive as me?"

Verian hugged him from behind as she pressed her face against his handsome face. She squinted her huge eyes and said, "No, Mr. Fudd is the most attractive man for me."

Heaton scoffed, but he seemed quite satisfied with the answer. He patted the back of her hand and said, "Continue your massage; it feels very professional."

Verian did not know what to say to that.

As Verian massaged his husband, she recalled what Helen told her that day, so she said, "Oh, that's right. Helen loves Little Jelly Bean, and she mentioned a marriage pact. She wanted Little Jelly Bean to be her daughter-in-law."

Heaton frowned as he replied, "What era is this? Why are we talking about a marriage pact still?"

Verian laughed when she noticed Heaton's judgmental look. She squeezed his handsome face with both hands and said, "Hey, don't judge her. That Tyler kid isn't that bad. Maybe our Jelly Bean likes him too. Or else, why would they play with each other every day?"

Heaton was slightly uncomfortable with that information. How could his daughter like another boy on a whim when it was he who raised her?

When Verian noticed the frown on Heaton's face, she laughed harder and said, "You look like you're afraid that someone would snatch Jelly Bean from you."

Heaton cared about his daughter more than any other regular father, though it did not mean that other fathers do not love their daughters. However, he was the one raised Little Jelly Bean from the day she was born. Hence, of course, Heaton would have deeper affections for Little Jelly Bean.

"Jelly Bean is way too young to plan for these things."

"I was only joking. Helen was also only pulling my leg when she said that. She'll marry whoever she likes in the future. Jelly Bean has to be willing for the marriage."

Heaton stared at his wife before he caressed her belly with his huge hand and said, "When Jelly Bean does get married, I'll have to interrogate her other half. If that person has even one bad quality, I will never agree to the marriage."

Verian teased, "That means your future son-in-law would be terrified of you since your requirements are that strict. You might actually scare them away. Wouldn't that mean no one would dare to marry our Jelly Bean?"

"It's better this way. She could stay with us."

Verian rolled her eyes at him and said, "Jelly Bean would hate you to death then."

Verian climbed onto the bed, pulled the cover, and got ready for sleep. However, her husband embraced her from behind as he breathed his warm breath on her nape. He whispered, "Madam Fudd, Mr. Fudd was the champion in today's race, and he also won a basketball game. Doesn't he deserve some reward?"

Verian was struck dumb by his request.

She blushed as she wondered about the maturity of that man.

Heaton stared at her blushed ears as his gaze grew dimmer. He asked, "What are you ashamed of?"

"I don't want to reward you."

"Why?" The man frowned.

Verian thought the warm and burning gaze from her back was too much for her to handle, and she did not wish to reply to him, so she buried herself underneath the blankets. However, the man joined her as well.

"So, you think the man you married isn't amazing enough? Well then, what should I do so you'd think I'm awesome…"

"Ugh." Verian felt like she wanted to vomit blood.

If there were a hole right now, she would very much love to burrow into it!

The next morning, Little Jelly Bean munched on a little bear cookie at the dining table. Her mouth was completely covered in crumbs.

Heaton suddenly recalled what Verian told him last night, so he looked at his daughter and said, "Jelly Bean."

"Huh?" Little Jelly Bean was not paying attention to him since her mind was focused entirely on food.

"Do you like playing with Tyler?" Heaton asked.

Little Jelly Bean frowned, took a sip of milk before she pouted and said, "Who likes playing with that meanie?"

"Really?"
