Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 460

The train’s air conditioning was on full blast during the early summer. It was not hot but Serene felt her entire body burning.

The man rested his handsome chin gently on the top of the woman’s head while she stood bare feet on the back of Wilson’s. Although not many people were looking at them, Serene’s face was blushing heavily.

Wilson intentionally was not hugging her as he lowered his gaze while cracking a subtle smile at her. He said, “Babe, if you don’t hug my neck, you’ll slip.”

Since Serene had slipped multiple times from her leather shoes.

Serene was speechless.

It was only then did Serene reach out while blushing before hesitantly hugging his neck while the both of them were very close to one another and their breaths felt incredibly warm.

While Serene was hugging Wilson, Wilson suddenly reached out as well to hug her waist, pulling her closer to him.

The man lowered his thin lips closer to her at the same time and whispered in a deep voice next to her ear, “So tell me, how have you been recently?”

“I… well, you know, matchmaking and whatnot.”

“So it seems you have been matchmaking a lot recently?”

Serene shrugged and said, “Yeah. While you’re not around, my mom set me up with a lot of people.”

It was not like she was unappealing to people since she had plenty of pursuers after her aside from him. Therefore, he should absolutely stay alert and keep his guard up!

“Are you telling me that you have plenty of pursuers after you right now?”

Serene scoffed and said, “Yeah. Hence, if you want to pursue after me, you need to get in line.”

Wilson cracked a subtle smile while staring at her adorable little face. He said, “Can I cut in line?”

“No. First come first served.”

“But, I’ve already been waiting for you for so long now.”

Ten years ago even…

Serene hated that he completely cut off all contact with her recently so she glared at him and said, “I can’t argue with you. Oh, that’s right, why are you taking the train with me?”

“What do you think?” Wilson stared at her with his dark burning gaze.

“I...I have no idea.”

“I just can’t wait to see you and yet you tell me that you were busy matchmaking recently and you didn’t even miss me.”

Serene was speechless.

When Serene noticed the sadness in Wilson’s eyes, her heart wrenched silently.

She slightly lowered her gaze, pouted her lips while staring at the clean collar of his shirt. She said, “That was because you didn’t even bother to contact me. I thought… you don’t want me anymore.”

The woman’s soft voice sounded sad. When Wilson heard her say that, he started to feel guilty.

After remaining silent for a while, Wilson finally said, “I will never not want you. Never.”

Dinner was about to begin in the Fudd family home.

Verian was calling the children to wash their hands, “Jelly Bean, Zaynie, come over to wash your hands.”

Little Jelly Bean was the first to rush over as Verian helped the little rascal to squeeze a little soap on her tender white little hands. Little Jelly Bean asked, “Monty, are there any king-sized prawns for tonight?”

“Yeah, I know you love eating prawns.”

Little Jelly Bean was beaming with joy while squinting her huge eyes.

After she was done helping Little Jelly Bean wash her hands, Zaynie did not show up so Verian frowned and asked, “Why isn’t Zaynie here yet?”

“I’ll go check on him. He’s in a bad mood recently.”
