Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 505

The elderly man nodded with a satisfying smile after he heard Verian's explanation for her design. His smile had hints of admiration as he teasingly said, "Miss Mont, your husband didn't tell you to lose weight and instead encouraged you to design a plus-size wedding dress? What an interesting man."

Verian did not expect the man would mention that so suddenly. She blushed as she said, "My relationship with my husband is extremely well, and my husband is here today as well."

"Oh? Your husband is…?"

Verian pointed at a nearby spot and told the man, "My husband is over there."

The elderly man took a quick glance as he nodded with a smile. He finally said, "The pinnacle of fashion design isn't just about showing off the beauty of a product without any practical uses. The world needs more young designers who can design something from their heart. You've performed well. I look forward to seeing you in the finals."

"Thank you."

After the man left, Verian walked toward Heaton and Little Jelly Bean.

Heaton asked, "How was it? Anyone like your design?"

"That's the thing about design; some people might like it and some might not. However, it doesn't matter. At least there's an elderly man who seems to like my work. Even if I don't qualify to enter the finals, I am already happy about it."

Heaton said with a calm smile, "It doesn't matter if you get into the finals or not. If you want, I can set up a design workshop for you. That way, anyone who likes your design can come to you to design for them."

"Really?"

Verian thought that the suggestion was an excellent idea. That plan could actually work.

"Of course! I am more worried about Madam Fudd being overwhelmed by too many customers then, and the supply wouldn't be enough for the demand out there."

"It wouldn't be that insane. People might not even show up, and I'd end up as the laughing stock then."

Furthermore, they would need a lot of money to open a design workshop. She would feel incredibly awful if she lost Heaton's investment in her workshop.

Guilt was one thing; she also knew that Heaton was wholly focused on making money, yet she would spend his money so carelessly. It would be awful if anyone else found out about it.

Not long after that, the judges' representative went on stage to announce the competition's final results.

Verian felt slightly nervous as she held onto Heaton's hand.

They had announced many names. Verian even heard Bodd's name in the announcement; he had successfully made it through to the finals. However, her name was not announced yet.
