Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 630

Z Country.

Wilson received a phone call from Ruby.

“We found out where Stephen is hiding.”

Wilson raised his brows and asked, “Where is he?”

“Wilson, Stephen is actually the Dark Organization’s leader. We underestimated him. It seems it’s always been him behind every single problem we’ve faced all these years. He’s in charge of two different organizations just to stir up chaos all around the world. He wanted to spill blood.”

“I will ask the President how we should proceed with this ordeal tomorrow.”

Ruby said, “We won’t be able to avoid a war now. A Country has just invaded Z Country’s Robinson Island earlier. A Country deployed agents from the Dark Organization, so it seems this war between the Light and Dark Organizations is inevitable.”

Wilson stood by the window. He stared at a nearby hill after the phone call ended.

It was a calm night. The moon was full and the night’s sky was bright.

He would bring Serene back to North City after this war. Or perhaps, they would move somewhere else. He had even bought a beautiful private island. He would take Serene on a vacation there for as long as they wanted after he resigned from the Light Organization.

Serene was in a daze while she slept on the huge bed in the room. She instinctively reached out to feel beside her with her little hands and found it empty.

Serene opened her eyes. She raised her hands to rub her huge eyes before pulling the covers aside to look for Wilson in this huge house.

“Wilson? Where are you?”

None of the lights were switched on. Serene glanced around the huge house with the help of the moonlight. No one responded as she spoke in the darkness.

Serene noticed Wilson’s silhouette standing by the enclosed balcony. Wilson had also noticed Serene’s presence then.

Serene rushed over to him. He hugged her tightly into him and she was buried in his chest.

Wilson lowered his head and pressed his head against her face. He asked her in a soft, yet deep voice, “Are you cold?”

Since the heaters were on full blast in the house, Serene would not feel cold despite the fact that she was wearing a thin dress.

Serene shook her little head as she said, “What are you doing here instead of sleeping? Are you having troubles sleeping?”

Wilson stared at her intensely before turning her body around so that she was looking at him.

“Babe, I might need to leave you again for quite some time.”

Serene’s beady eyes dimmed as she pouted her small lips and asked, “If that’s the case, then when will you be back?”

“Around a week to half a month latest.”

Serene raised her little head while staring at him. “Then can you bring me along with you?”

“I will be going to the borders. It’s a warzone there. It’s not safe if I bring you along with me. Besides, I’ll be distracted if I take you along with me.”

“A warzone… However, didn’t you tell me you’re a low-level agent? Good lord, what year are we in? Why are you still required to be deployed out for war if you’re an insignificant, low-level agent?”

Wilson took a deep breath and hugged the woman in his arms tightly before lowering his head to kiss her forehead. He whispered, “Babe, I’ve always been worried about scaring you so even if I tell you something, it’s not going to be the full truth. However, since we’ve been through so much together already, it’ll be impossible for me to hide anything from you anymore. Furthermore, I know you have plenty of questions recently.”

Serene blinked her dark, beady eyes but did not seem surprised. Instead, she spoke in a calm tone, “It doesn’t matter who you are. Whether you’re the president of this country, you’re still mine. Who you truly are doesn’t bother me and the only thing I care about is that you’re my Wilson.”

Wilson stared at the woman’s serious little face as he lowered his head and pressed his forehead against hers. A compassionate joyful glint could be seen from the bottoms of his eyes as he said, “I’m yours forever.”

The woman hugged his neck with her white tender little arms while Wison reciprocated.

“Wilson, let’s get married when you return.”

“Alright. However, the man should always be the one to say these things…”

Wilson then pressed the woman in his embrace against the window before giving her a strong and passionate kiss.

Serene was blushing heavily from the man’s kiss…

While Wilson was pressing his lips against hers, he spoke in a gentle tone, “We’ll have a child again when your body recovers and when I return.”

Serene nodded bashfully as she replied, “Sure.”

“Babe…”

“Yeah?”

“This will be my last time leaving you for this long. I won’t leave you ever again. Never.”

Serene held up his face with her little hands. While staring at him, she told him, “I didn’t force you to swear to me now, okay? However, since you’ve said it yourself, I’ll remember it. I’ll be angry if you don’t honor your words in the future.”

Wilson chuckled as he said, “Sure.”

Serene buried her little head into his nape as she glanced around this huge house with her dark, beady eyes. She mumbled, “Wilson, can we not live in such a huge house like this in the future?”

“Hmm? You don’t like it?”

“I have to spend all day looking for you the moment I wake up. It’s too big.”

It seemed such a simple statement had such a huge impact on Wilson’s heart.

Wilson stared intensely at the woman in his arms as he said, “Alright then, we’ll live in a smaller house next time. You’ll be able to find me with a single glance the moment you wake up.”

Serene felt drowsy again and started to yawn twice while burying herself closer within the man’s arms. She shook her little hands around his neck as she said, “Let’s go to bed. I’m extremely tired.”

Wilson carried Serene to the huge bed. They cuddled each other as they slept.

Serene closed her huge eyes and spoke in a delighted tone, “Honestly, I feel like everything is pretty alright right now.”

“How so?”

“We don’t have kids and we’re spending time together as a couple. In all honesty, I’m actually not ready to be a mother yet. I still want to have fun for at least two more years.”

Wilson felt that regarding children, as long as Serene wanted one, he would gladly have them. However, if she did not want one, he would not mind it either way. It was not because he did not like children. It was merely due to the fact that he wanted to fully invest the next two years of his time solely on Serene.
