Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 665

Lucy was trapped in Yanni's room.

She pointed her phone at Yanni and warned him. "Yanni, this is kidnapping! I'll call the police!

Yanni sneered at her and loosened his tie before he walked toward her. "I dare you to that; I'll just say that you are my wife. Who do you think they'll believe?"

"You're a psycho! We are not even married!"

"I brought the marriage proposal with me." Yanni walked toward the desk, where he took a folder and threw it at her. "Sign it," he said.

Lucy swallowed hard as she glared at him. "Why do you want to marry me?"

He did not love her. Furthermore, he thought she was pregnant with another man's child. Why would he still bother with her?

Yanni looked at her, and his icy glare softened. "I don't want to lose her again."

He needed ten years to heal from Sam's passing; he was almost healed when Lucy appeared. However, Lucy was not willing to keep up the pretense as Sam for him. Since she was not willing to lie to him, he had to face the issue himself.

Lucy looked at the man in front of her and jeered. "I am nothing but a substitute. Let me go, Yanni, and forgive yourself as well."

Yanni smirked. "You think that I don't know that? I knew you were not Sam the first day you appeared. You do not look like Sam at all, Lucy. I admit that I did try to think of you as Sam. However, when you left me six months ago, I realized that I thought of you often. Even when I knew you are Lucy."

Lucy's eyes teared, and she sniffed. "We were a mistake from the start; we should not be together." She was confused. She did not know if Yanni wanted her because she looked like her dead sister or because he wanted her.
