After Yanni entered his office, he noticed Lucy sitting on the couch in a bad mood. She no longer felt like sleeping anymore.

Yanni frantically walked over and sat beside her. As he was just about to reach out and hug her, the woman immediately moved further away from him. She did not want him to hug her.

This entire ordeal was indeed his fault.

Yanni held back his anger and inched closer to Lucy. However, Lucy once again moved further away on the couch but Yanni was still approaching her. This kept going for a while until Lucy finally could not hold back her anger anymore as she furiously glared at him with her beady eyes. She exclaimed, “Yanni Quain, today just happens to be the first day of our marriage.”

Yanni replied obediently, “I know.”

Today happened to be the day they received their marriage certificate and yet, Coco somehow appeared. This thought alone made Lucy feel incredibly confused. She was wondering if anything else would happen tomorrow.

The more Lucy thought about it, the more wronged she felt as even her furious glare was starting to tear up. She said, “Do you think that after getting our marriage certificate today and getting me pregnant with your child meant that you’re allowed to bully me however you want?”

“Lucy, how could I? Lucy, the whole ordeal with Coco is really just an accident.”

Lucy scoffed coldly and said, “An accident? An accident that resulted in you seeing the mole on her chest? Why don’t you tell me that it’s also an accident that you slept with her instead?”

Lucy could not understand the man’s excuses and this made her even more furious.

Yanni explained immediately, “I never slept with her.”

“If you didn’t then how could you even see the mole on her chest?”

Yanni sighed and held onto her shoulders, allowing Lucy to stare directly at him as he said, “Lucy is a famous model and I’ve only met her once during a dinner event. The dress she wore was a low cut dress and the cleavage is completely visible in dresses like those. So…”

Before the man could finish explaining, Lucy furiously said, “So, you can’t stop staring at the woman’s chest now, right?”

How could she have not known about Yanni previously being this scummy!

Lucy turned around while hugging her arms, completely ignoring him.

Yanni pouted his lips as he noticed just how angry she was. Thus, he immediately carried the woman in his arms.

Lucy did not expect Yanni to suddenly carry her so she yelled in a surprised tone, “Hey! What are you doing! Put me down!”

It would be impossible for Yanni to listen to him since he was such an unreasonable man. Therefore, the man immediately carried her into the break room in his office.

Yanni gently placed her on the bed after entering the room. Lucy sat on the edge of the bed while the man was kneeling in front of her.

Lucy wanted to get up and leave. However, Yanni was hugging her leg as he said, “I only noticed the mole on her chest because of you.”

Lucy was slightly stunned as she mumbled, “What does that have anything to do with me?”

“I only got to know Coco when you just left for Peak Valley.”

Lucy replied, “Oh, so you’re trying to tell me that you immediately fell for someone else when I literally just left?”

Yanni was speechless.

Yanni got up and sat beside Lucy as he patiently said, “I truly missed you dearly when you were away at Peak Valley. However, I couldn’t find you and the only thing that I could do was to keep myself busy with work. I didn’t refuse any dinner events because I didn’t want to allow myself to calm down and start thinking about you whenever I’m free.”

Lucy’s heart trembled slightly after listening to his statement and the furiously stern expression on her face was starting to loosen up slightly.

“Since you missed me so much then why were you dating Coco anyway?”
