Ruby took a look at the time when the event was about to end. The time read 9.55pm.

There were five minutes left till the mini-explosives hidden by the Light Organization as an ambush would go off.

Ruby took a look at her thin heels. Although she had practiced wearing these heels, if the explosives actually went off later, she might have to run for her life. Although she was confident in her abilities, she had to avoid the shockwave, brace the injuries, and avoid getting blown up to death.

It did not take long for every single guest to leave in an orderly fashion with Old K and his lackeys’ arrangement. Blaine then glanced at the time on his watch. There were twenty seconds left.

He scanned the hall and noticed there was still the woman left.

Ruby was extremely calm as she sat in the hall. She took her high heels off to rub her swollen and reddish feet.

Blaine frowned and immediately strode over while ordering her in a cold tone, “Leave here immediately.”

Not only did Ruby not move, but she also replied in a very coquettish manner, “What are you so mean? Can’t you see that my feet were hurt by my heels? Can’t I just take a break here? What does this have anything to do with you anyway?”

Ten seconds had gone by.
