Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 814

This was the first time in Cherie's life to have taken a long haul bus ride.

She immediately went on her trip after getting his address from Hector. The truth was, she was actually unsure if he would be mad at her or not.

Boyle was an even more unstable man than her father.

However, even so, she still wanted to meet him just to explain to him her relationship with Tyler.

It was also because she missed him too much that made her want to visit him in secret.

Her mood improved significantly when she thought about being able to meet Boyle in an hour.

The sky was gradually turning dark outside the window as the bus sped through the highway. She felt bored taking a bus ride alone. However, due to how excited she felt, she was not sleepy at all.

After an hour and a half bus ride, the bus arrived at a town. There were people gradually getting out of the bus. However, the town that she was heading to was called Chester.

The bus driver reminded everyone not long after that, "We've arrived at Chester. Whoever that needs to get off, please disembark now."

Cherie cheerfully got out of the bus's back exit while carrying her backpack.

There were plenty of motorized rickshaw drivers by the bus stop.

A driver chimed in, "Hey missy, where are you heading to? Let me take you there."

"I need to head to Chester's 29th Street. Which direction do I need to go?"

"I'll take you there for ten bucks. Chester is really far from here. You won't make it there on foot."

Cherie did not haggle as she immediately hopped on. It was a bumpy ride. She arrived at the entrance of Chester after ten minutes.

The driver said, "Missy, you can look for the street number yourself. Chester is quite a huge town and it's divided into both front and back districts."

The driver left after Cherie paid for the ride. She was a little overwhelmed when she stared at the amount of houses while she stood at the entrance.

She could not possibly go door to door just to look for Boyle's house. Not to mention, the driver even told her that Chester was divided into two districts. It would be very unlikely for her to actually find where Boyle lived in a single night.

It was already 9 p.m. when she checked the time on her phone.

Cherie was constantly calling Boyle but to no avail.

Hence, all Cherie could do was switch on her flashlight and start looking through every house in the village while carrying her backpack.

After Boyle was done with his shower, his mother, Sonia was doing the dishes in the kitchen when he exited the washroom.

"Hey Boyle, your phone had been ringing for a really long time earlier but I don't really know how to pick up the call so I didn't. Was your friend calling you?"

Boyle grabbed his phone from the table and took a look at the missed calls. They were from Cherie.

When he called her back, her phone was already switched off.

Boyle frowned.

After that, Boyle switched on his laptop and was getting ready to do work. He instinctively grabbed his phone and opened up Facebook.

He scrolled through the conversations to look for Cherie's messages. After that, he sent her a text, "Switch your phone back on."

However, he received no reply after a really long time.

Boyle was in a really bad mood and after looking at the stock market, he switched his laptop off.

He received a call from Huntley after that.

"Hey Boyle, have Cherie arrived at your house yet?"

Boyle raised his brow and asked, "My house?"

"Yeah. Whitney told me that Cherie had taken a bus to your village. Cherie had even called me earlier to ask me if your house is at the front or back district. How should I know where you live…"

Boyle frowned, hung up the call, grabbed his jacket and immediately headed outside.
