Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 826

Due to Cherie's injuries, she was behind in a lot of classes.

Although Mandy gave lessons to and lent her homework to Cherie, she was still able to get through some English assignments or work regarding Marxist Philosophy since all she had to do was memorize everything word for word. However, her assignment this time was Advanced Mathematics and she could not understand a single thing even after staring at the text for a really long time.

Since she usually slacked off during her Advanced Mathematics class, she obviously had a hard time catching up after skipping so many classes despite how intelligent she was.

She scratched her head while staring at the math problems.

Oh, no. If she continued down this path, would she actually fail her final exam?

However, she did not wish to retake any courses or exams since it would be embarrassing and a waste of time on her end.

Boyle was staring at the stock market on his laptop while working on some math problems of his own on a notebook in his hand. They looked like complex math problems.

She inched over and stared at him before taking a glance at the flashing colors of the shifting stock market on his laptop and asked, "Hey Boyle, are you able to make money from the stock market all the time because of how good you are at math?"

"Well, it helps since the stock market foundation is built on Advanced Mathematics but that’s not all. However, if I use some Advanced Mathematics to help with my investments in the stock market, I'll have a higher chance of making profits. Therefore, the stock market is mostly dependent on knowledge with a slight pinch of luck but most people still rely solely on luck when they approach the stock market."

Cherie cracked a huge smile at him as she said, "Since your math is so good, well… Can you grace me with a fraction of your precious working hours?"

Boyle raised his brows as he walked over to her before placing his long and slender arms on the back of her chair. He then lowered his head to look at her math problems and immediately asked, "Do you not know the theory of how this problem works or do you have problems solving a specific question?"

Cherie let out an awkward laugh as she bit her pen and awkwardly replied, "Everything."

Boyle rubbed his brows as he sat down and took her pen away. He highlighted some main points and wrote some functions before asking her after each point, "Can you remember these functions?"

"Yeah. Got it."

"Let's take a look at the next problem then. You'll need to substitute this trigonometric function in…"

Boyle was teaching her like a patient teacher and made everything so easy to understand. Since Cherie was intelligent, it did not take long for her to understand the questions.

"Boyle, you explain it better than my maths lecturer. I see now why you're allowed to give lectures at our school."

Boyle gave her a warm smile before patting her little head as he said, "Hurry up and get your work done. Stop fooling around."

Cherie spent the entire noon finishing her assignments and memorizing some English terms. She was very productive.

After about two weeks, The burn on Cherie's thighs had fully recovered. Fortunately, her metabolism was quick so the scar on her thighs was not that obvious. Although a scar was left behind after the accident, it would not take long for her skin to look as fair as before.

Cherie returned to her classes after she had fully recovered.

Her first class of the day was Advanced Mathematics and her lecturer happened to be one of their tutors.

The tutor called out to Cherie after the class was over. "Hey, Cherie, hold on a second. I have something to tell you."

After Cherie was done packing, she rushed over and said, "Is there something you need, sir? I've submitted all the assignments to you already."

The tutor laughed and said, "I'm not here to talk to you about work."

"Then…?"

"Well, are you really Boyle's girlfriend?"

The tutor carefully watched Cherie's reaction with a teasing look as he mumbled, "You are something, you little brat. Not even Layla was able to get him! You’re awesome!"

The tutor gave Cherie a thumbs up while praising her.

Cherie was flustered while rubbing her neck as she wondered if dating Boyle was really such a big deal?

Even the tutor was impressed by it.
