Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 876

Boyle returned to his Lake Street Villa after sending Cherie home.

The instant he opened the door after going upstairs, he was greeted with a messy sight. The clothes she wore earlier were messily laid on the bed. A pillow was laid on the top of the bed while another was at the edge of the bed. Moreover, the covers were also messily curled up into a ball. It was a messy sight to behold.

He had a mild case of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. However, she helped him slowly get over his mental disorder seven years ago after spending a significant amount of time with her.

The man smiled as he stood by the door when he saw that scene. Somehow, he had no intention of cleaning up the mess for now.

He entered the washroom.

The floor was completely wet after being used by her. There were even a few loose strands of hair lying on the wet washroom floor and some bubbles in the drain.

It looked like a complete mess.

However, Boyle only smiled wider upon staring at the scene.

Boyle's phone rang in his pocket. He fished out his phone while staring at the washroom floor before turning around and picking up the call.

Huntley was the one calling him.

"Hey, my wedding is this weekend so even if you have to close some billion bucks business then, I expect you to reject the client. I want you to come over to my wedding, alright?"

Boyle chuckled gently and said, "I'm not a machine and also need to rest. Not to mention, my company isn't open during the weekend nor do I sign contracts."

"Well, technically speaking, you brought Whitney and me together so you're my matchmaker. Therefore, you should be the witness to our marriage."

"You can forget about me being a witness but I’ll definitely be your best man."

Huntley replied with a slightly playful voice, "Wow, I have two best men for my wedding, you and Hector. How awesome. Oh, that's right, this Saturday happens to be the hundredth year anniversary celebration event for Capital City University. Do you want to come a few days earlier to the capital so that we can go to the event together as old schoolmates?"

Anniversary celebration?

It seemed that after Boyle had learned of Cherie's mental disorder, he had nearly forgotten about the event. "Your wedding will be on the very next day so how do you still have the mood to go to the anniversary event?"

"Saturday happens to be the final day of me being single so I expect you guys to throw me the best bachelor party ever. I'll lose my freedom when I am chained down by the obligations of marriage."

Boyle actually felt envious of him while clutching his phone and said, "You don't know the pain of being single."

Huntley chuckled and said, "Oh, Boyle, why didn’t I know you're such a softie back then. Man, I didn't know you're that desperate to get married."

"Whether or not I'm desperate to get married or who I'd marry has absolutely nothing to do with you. What's the matter? You don't want to marry Whitney anymore?"

Huntley lowered his voice and whispered to him, "Oh, I wouldn't dare to say that. She'd rip my ear off."

Boyle no longer wished to continue listening to Huntley while he flaunted his love at him. He exclaimed, "I'm hanging up now."

"Hold up, you haven't told me if you're coming to the anniversary event this Saturday at the capital yet."

Boyle walked toward his study while holding his phone. He received an invitation the instant he opened up his email. It was an invitation to celebrate Capital City University’s hundredth year anniversary.

"I've just received the email."

"So are you going or not? If you are, we're going as a group. We need to invite Whitney and Cherie as well."

Boyle replied, "I'm going if she's going."

Huntley was a little puzzled as he said, "She? Are you talking about Cherie? Oh, Boyle, I didn't know that even after all these years, you're still so obsessed over Cherie."

Boyle simply replied, "I never stopped."

He had never stopped loving her.

Huntley replied, "Don't you worry. I'll have Whitney invite her. Well, you technically are our cupid, you know, so this time, it's my turn to repay your kindness,"

Boyle did not thank him since he was already that close with Huntley.

Boyle looked at the time after hanging up the call. It was only 8pm so he decided to give his mother, Sonia, a call.
