Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 889

The race track on Mount Zion was a closed public road.

The snake-like winding design of the road provided full zest to the racers to perform dangerous race stunts and maneuvers.

On the racecourse, there were more than ten race cars with varying colors speeding toward the finish point located at the mountain’s peak.

Tyler quickly trailed closely behind Cherie’s car.

He was wholly astonished as he did not expect Cherie to be able to drive the race car smoothly and at such a lightning speed. She was incredibly fast and did not slow down when drifting the corners.

She was obviously playing with fire.

He never knew that Little Jelly Bean would be this ambitious in a racing tournament.

It was strange.

However, he did not want to be distracted even for a second and quickly followed closely behind Jelly Bean.

Their cars were connected to Bluetooth.

Tyler was worried and asked, “My lady, can you drive a little slower? The winning prize is only five hundred million. It’s not like we’re short of money.”

Cherie replied, “Don’t talk to me. You should focus on driving. Also, please speed up. The cars behind are going to overtake us soon.”

Tyler was speechless.

It was the first time he received criticism from a girl for being slow in car racing.

He decided to prove her wrong.

The red Porsche overtook Tyler’s car and subsequently Cherie’s.

Cherie glanced at the red Porsche and slammed her foot on the accelerator. In no time, she managed to stay side by side with the red Porsche.

Tyler was startled.

From whom did Jelly Bean inherit the talent in gambling?

It was certainly not from timid Aunt Monty.

Uncle Fudd was probably not that crazy, huh! This girl was obviously gambling with her life!

The red Porsche and Ferrari did not have any intention of giving way to one another. Their cars were colliding with each other while matching speed.

The man in the red Porsche cursed, “Damn bit*ch, it’s just five hundred million. Why are you in a rush? Do you have a death wish?!”

Cherie turned a deaf ear to the man no matter how much he cursed at her. She stepped on the accelerator to its maximum.

As they arrived at a turning point, the man in the red Porsche finally gave in as he was afraid he might drive off the cliff and instantly die.

“F*ck! You can take the prize! What an unlucky day for me to bump into such a desperate person!”

Most importantly, she was just a young woman!

The more he thought of it, the more unfair and unacceptable he was toward the truth!

He would definitely give the young woman a warning when the race ended!

She shall know who was in charge of this territory!

Cherie sped off in a cloud of dust, taking the lead.

Tyler was shocked and amazed by Cherie’s skill.

When Cherie almost arrived at the peak, she had to drift at the most difficult bend before meeting the finishing line.

She stared intently at the highest point of the cliff.

A scary thought flitted through her mind. If she were to fall off the cliff from this high point, she would probably be crushed into pieces.

Unable to control herself, she drove toward the cliff.

Tyler managed to chase after her just in time before she was able to do something reckless. He cursed upon thinking that her brake malfunctioned.

“Jelly Bean! What are you doing!”

Tyler’s yell brought her back to her senses.

He slammed his foot on the accelerator to match her speed and drove next to her, attempting to direct her toward the center of the road and far away from the cliff.

That thought was temporary and it vanished in no time.

Once she was awakened from her daze, Cherie once again sped up and fled upwards toward the peak of the hill.

The colourful Ferrari full of bright and glaring graffiti sped past the yellow line and clinched first place.
