Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 892

The Mount Zion Racetrack was surrounded by silence under the night.

Boyle and Tyler each chose a race car.

Sitting in the driver’s seat, Tyler smirked and said, “You still have the chance to surrender now. Look at you dressed up in a suit and tie. You look just like a boss in an office. I bet you never tried car racing before.”

Boyle held his necktie in his hand. His eyes were calm as he said, “Since this is a non-professional race, we’ll exclude the rules and compete for courage. I’m pretty sure I’m not less courageous than you.”

Tyler jumped down from the front seat and said in an unruly manner, “Don’t be too overconfident. I don’t think you can defeat me, neither in courage nor racing. Businessmen like you who reek of money are most afraid of losses. It’s not worth it to lose your life to win a race.”

Boyle was not affected at all. He said, “I am afraid of losses, but I learned something after meeting Cherie. I’m willing to risk everything for her.”

Boyle was crazy about money after experiencing poverty when he was young. He saw how his mother had to beg for money door-to-door just to borrow money to pay for his fees. Having experienced that himself, of course he loved money.

It was no exaggeration to say that he loved money as much as his life but Cherie was more important than his life.

Tyler opened the car door and entered the car. He said, “Stop talking nonsense. Let’s get this over with. I’m in a hurry to go eat supper.”

Boyle’s phone rang right after he opened the car door and entered the car. The caller ID showed it was from Calum.

He picked up his phone.

Calum said, “Boss, we managed to retrieve the CCTV footage of Ms. Cherie and Young Master Gale. I’ve just sent you the video.”

Boyle clicked on the video after hanging up.

The race seemed very intense in the video. Cherie’s car was speeding down the track. She drove boldly and aggressively. She even hit her opponent’s car a few times.

Her Ferrari seemed like it was going to fall off the cliff when she reached the bend on the mountain top.

Boyle’s eyes trembled and his heart pounded.

If Tyler’s car did not catch up to her and blocked her path, her car would have fallen off the cliff.

She was literally committing suicide.

Boyle clutched his hand holding the phone. His palms broke out into cold sweat.

Young Master Gale, who was sitting in the other car, rolled down his window and turned to face Boyle. He said, “Hey, Boss Lawson, are you still up for the competition?”

Boyle tossed his phone aside. He shut his eyes and gradually, he came back to his senses.

After a minute, both cars sped off like an arrow.

Tyler was taking the lead while Boyle was left far behind. A smug smile crept across Tyler’s face when he looked at the car which was 300 meters away from his rearview mirror.

“You still have a long way to go to race with me!”

Tyler tried numerous extreme sports such as racing, skydiving, and surfing during the time when he was studying abroad.

However, Boyle only knew how to work, attend high-level meetings, and flew around the world for the past seven years. The only sports he did were exercise to strengthen his body like jogging and push-ups.

He never tried extreme sports before.

However, the best businessmen always had the personality of a gambler in their bones.

Boyle was no exception.

Looking at the car speeding ahead of him, all he could think about was the video that Calum sent him earlier.

Cherie literally risked her life racing.

Boyle hit the accelerator and charged forward, trying to catch up with the car in front of him.

Cherie was his life.

He would never back down.

Both cars with different colors were speeding down the mountain road one behind the other.

Tyler drove around the bends skillfully. The car turned and drifted perfectly.

Tyler’s mouth was drawn back into a smile of triumph as he drove around the last bend. “Want to beat me? In your next life!”

He turned his steering wheel aggressively. Right when he was about to drift around the corner, the car behind him crashed into his car violently.

Tyler’s eyes widened as he cursed, “F*ck! Does Boyle even know how to race?”

Tyler wanted to yell and curse! Did Boyle really want to race, or did he simply want to cause an accident?

The car behind him kept violently slamming into his car. Then, Boyle ran over the top of Tyler’s car.
