Ten Miles Hall had organized a masquerade ball during the weekend.
Amongst the bright lights were people with masks. They were all looking for a dance partner.
Rather than calling it a masquerade ball, a grand social event with some dancing seemed to be more fitting.
When Cherie entered the hall while hugging Harrison's arm, they caught the attention of a lot of people even though the siblings were only wearing half a mask. Their appearance still looked absolutely stunning. They would stand out tremendously even by simply walking through the crowd.
Cherie was wearing a red dress. It had a V-neck with a sleeveless design. Only people with an incredible body could wear that.
The dress was made with high-grade silk and expensive red dye. It was sewn in a very tight fit thus, showing off the woman's slender and amazing body.
Her perky breasts, seductively intricate looking clavicles, her snow white back and her slender waist were all exposed.
The tail ends of the dress reached her ankles and whenever she walked, her slender ankles could be seen through the tail ends of her dress.
She looked incredibly attractive.
Boyle noticed the familiar looking silhouette while he was standing at a corner. His eyes trembled underneath his chrome blue half-mask.
The woman was standing underneath the lights nearby. Her long flowing hair was draped across her shoulders. She was wearing a black butterfly mask on her face. There were shards of diamonds on the mask. Her luscious red lips could be seen under her mask. She looked absolutely stunning when the red dress showed off her snow white skin. It almost seemed like she was glowing.
His Cherie looked incredibly attractive.
Plenty of men swarmed her as they were trying to invite her for a dance.
However, she was just standing there, completely cold and unresponsive. She was ignoring all of them.
Those people were completely unimportant to her.
Harrison said while hugging Cherie's arm, "Hey sis, since we're already here, should we go for a dance?"
Cherie glared at him as she asked, "Do you even know how to dance?"
"Oh please, how can I not know? It's only a tango and I've seen it in my university's social events before."
Cherie turned around and smiled at him as she said, "Oh, don't you scream if I step on your foot later, alright?"
The corner of Harrison's mouth twitched as he glanced downward to see her thin pair of high heels. He seemed to be in a daze.
"Please have mercy, sis!"
"I'll do my best."
The fast paced song of the tango dance began to play in the hall.
When Harrison took a step forward, Cherie took a step forward as well in her high heels. A crisp crack could be heard when she stepped on Harrison's foot.
"Hiss…"
Harrison gritted his teeth and squealed in pain underneath his mask.
"Can you be a little more gentle, sis?!"
Cherie complained with a frown, "Do you even know how to dance!"
"How could I not know how to dance! You're just trying to find an excuse to step on my foot!"
Another couple in their respective masks came over and were dancing next to them.
Harrison did not notice the couple as he was busy complaining, "Look at how well other people are dancing."
Cherie snapped back, "Yeah, that's because the person is a woman!"
Just as they were doing a spin, Cherie's body was flung outward. However, a huge hand suddenly grabbed her arm and immediately pulled her back into his chest.
She stumbled into a man's chest.
Both pairs of eyes met underneath their masks.
One was completely startled while the other seemed warm and caring.
The man hugged her soft back, bent over and whispered a praise into her ear, "You look beautiful today."
It was Boyle's voice.
Cherie was stunned as she reached out and wanted to push him away. However, Boyle was holding her down with both his huge hands as he whispered to her in a soft deep voice, "If you push me away in public, it'll be extremely humiliating for me."
Cherie was speechless.
"Let's at least finish the dance, okay?"
Cherie was speechless.
Boyle seemed to be teasing her by feeling her up throughout the entire tango dance. Whenever Cherie seemed uncooperative, he would lift her up and give her a spin.
The man carried her by her waist, lifted her high up above his head and gave her a spin while they tangoed.
However, the spin seemed to happen way too frequently.
She felt dizzy from that.
The tango was finally over as Cherie immediately slipped away from Boyle's arm before hastily leaving the ball.
Boyle smiled and went after her.
Cherie took off her butterfly mask when she exited the hall.
