Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 962

Boyle was visiting Cherie more frequently recently.

Shania allowed him to do so and even encouraged it.

Cherie was no longer being weighed down by her own guilt. Therefore, it would actually help her recovery whenever Boyle visited her.

Boyle brought a lot of fruits for her. He was sitting in front of the sick bed, peeling an apple with a knife for her at that moment.

Cherie said, "I met a young boy named Benjamin Dover in the hospital. He's super talented in drawing but his family doesn't seem to be doing so well. They're having a hard time paying for his medical bills and it's all because of them that the boy's mother could not afford to send him to art classes. Boyle, can you help him?"

Boyle was surprised when she made the request. He did not expect her to be moved by a stranger.

It was naturally a good thing.

Boyle said, "Benjamin Dover, was it?"

"Yeah."

"I'll have Shania check the patient's records later. I'll have the hospital fully waive his medical fees."

Boyle started a charity foundation for mental health patients in Cherie's name after that. It would help a lot of poor mental health patients afford the healthcare they needed.

Another Spring had arrived as Sakura flowers bloomed all over the capital.

Flicker, snap, snap….

Cherie had just finished her international concert tour and was instantly swarmed by a bunch of reporters the instant she entered her limousine after exiting the airport.

"Momo, I heard that you have just been discharged from a mental facility. Are you currently in the right mind to play the piano?"

"Momo, we found out plenty of information about you online. We were told that you were once diagnosed with severe depression. Is that true?"

"Momo, do you think that being a mental illness patient will affect your ability to play the piano?"

Cherie was wearing a black baseball cap. She paused for a moment when she heard that question before turning around to face the cameras and microphones.

"Beethoven is completely deaf. Do you think that his disability affected his ability to play the piano?"

The reporter was speechless.

'Was he actually affected by it or not?'

Cherie entered the car after saying that.

The black luxurious limousine got lost in the traffic while the reporters were completely stunned.

Cherie was scrolling through her phone in the car.

She scrolled through her call logs and messages and found nothing interesting.

All she got were a bunch of spam messages from her cell service provider.

Cherie then stared at Calum as she asked, "Are you my manager?"

Calum replied, "...I'm not, madam."

"What are you following me for if you're not my manager?"

Calum felt as if he was being caught in a tough spot as he nervously said, "Well...Boss isn't free lately but he will no doubt go to your next tour with you, madam."

Cherie opened up her camera app, gestured at Calum to come closer as she said, "Come closer for a second."

Calum was stunned as he asked, "What...are you doing, madam?"

Suddenly, Cherie hugged his arm, leaning closer to him as she took a picture.

Click.

Calum did not even have time to push her away.

After Cherie had taken the picture, she immediately withdrew her hands as she looked at the picture she had just taken. Feeling satisfied, she opened up the Facebook app on her phone.

Calum was beyond terrified as his face turned pale while he asked, "What are you doing, madam?"

"Making a Facebook post."

"This… This isn't appropriate at all!" Calum was so terrified he had cold sweats.

It would not be appropriate if his boss were to see the post!

Although it was only a simple hug and they did not behave intimately at all, Calum felt like dying when he thought about his boss’s menacing and cold glare.

"Madam… Please don't!"

She should not drag him down with her even if she was in a bad mood!

Cherie posted that picture on Facebook before taking a quick glance at Calum as she said, "Who are you calling madam? I haven't actually married your boss yet."

Calum was speechless as he realized just how swiftly a woman's mood could change.

If his boss saw the picture she had taken with him, his fate would be worse than death!

When Cherie noticed the limousine driving toward the direction of the MO Group, she raised her brows and said, "Turn the car around."

Calum asked, "Where are we heading?"

"Whitney has organized a blind date for me and he's currently waiting for me at the restaurant. I’m going for it."

Calum was completely speechless as he nervously asked, "Madam… Are you being serious?"

"If you refuse to turn this car around, I’ll kiss you."

Calum was speechless.

She was being too ruthless!

'Just what kind of wife did the boss even marry? She's basically a demon!'

They arrived at the restaurant's entrance by Peace Road.

Cherie was just about to get out of the car when Calum asked her again and again, "Madam, are you really going for a blind date? You’re not joking?"

Cherie replied with a simple, "Yeah."

Calum wanted to get out of the car and keep an eye out on her in order to report back to Boyle.

However, after Cherie got out of the car, she stopped the door from opening as she said, "Just wait for me in the car. It would be inappropriate for me to bring along another man to a blind date."
