It was crowded with people at Tranquility Halls.
The density made it feel extremely suffocating at the ticket counters.
Cherie no longer had the mood to enter when she noticed the crowd. "Let's go home."
It would be bliss if she could laze around all day at home watching TV and munching on chips while drinking a huge bottle of Coke.
Boyle knew how impatient she was and had long since bought tickets already. He fished out two tickets from his pocket and showed them to her.
Cherie was stunned as she asked, "When did you buy them?"
Boyle hugged her while they walked toward the entrance and said, "I knew you were coming home today so I bought it this morning. I always wanted to fulfill all the unfulfilled promises I made to you seven years ago."
She was very excited for spring seven years ago because Boyle said he would take her to Tranquility Halls to watch the Sakura blossoms bloom.
However, who would have guessed that fate had other plans for them as they ended up parting ways for seven years.
Tranquility Halls was on top of a hill, the path leading up to its peak littered with Sakura trees.
The spring breeze blew as the sky was filled with fluttering cherry blossom petals.
The duo went to the shrine at the foot of the hill to pay their respects.
After that, they took a cable car up to the peak. The route the cable car took was decorated on all sides with sakura trees. They were able to see the hill that was completely covered by beautiful cherry blossoms as its petals fluttered with the wind.
After getting into a private gondola, the cable car slowly moved up the hill.
Cherie was embraced by Boyle in the gondola throughout the ride. She was able to see a pink field of cherry blossoms through the transparent window.
The petals were raining down on them, a beautiful scene to behold.
Cherie took out her phone and took a few pictures of the beautiful scenery outside.
Boyle suddenly recalled something while hugging her waist. He looked at the woman in his arms and said, "Cherie, the executives in the MO Group were asking me if I have any plans to make our wedding public."
Cherie was looking at the beautiful picture she had taken with her phone when she replied with a carefree tone, "We haven't even decided on the wedding date yet."
Boyle grabbed her hand that was wearing the ring as he said, "But I really want to announce our relationship."
"But a lot of people already know about it."
"That's different."
Cherie asked, "Why is it different?"
Boyle patiently explained, "They heard it through rumors and the internet. It's not formal and official enough."
Cherie said, "They'll know when we eventually hold our wedding."
Boyle was not too worked up about something everyone would find out in time. However, all he wanted was to announce it sooner. He wanted to tell the world that he was dating Cherie.
Boyle belonged to Cherie and she belonged to him.
Cherie picked up her phone, switched to her front-facing camera as she leaned her head closer into Boyle's arm and took a few pictures.
However, Boyle's face was not captured in her pictures.
All she could see was herself being embraced by a man who was dressed in a white shirt as the man's face was not visible.
The man's long neck along with his sexy Adam's apple could be seen in the picture. His shirt was slightly unbuttoned as his clavicles were subtly exposed.
His firm arms were also wrapped around her waist. His skin looked pale while his fingers were long. His veins were also subtly exposed. His arms emanated an extremely masculine aura and he looked like a work of art.
The hidden face made everything even more exciting.
Boyle raised his brows a little as he lowered his head to look at the picture and said, "Why don’t you show my face?"
Cherie replied with a carefree tone, "It's more artistic this way."
Boyle was speechless.
He wondered just how it was an artistic choice? People who did not know the truth would assume that she had just taken a picture with a male model.
"Are you saying that my face isn't artistic enough?" Boyle frowned harder.
Cherie was speechless.
She wondered just what sort of nonsense lawyers actually thought about.
Cherie reached out and squeezed Boyle's face. She glanced back and forth before saying, "Now that I think about it, your face is actually quite the work of art too."
Boyle stared at her with a funny look as he asked, "Am I really that handsome?"
"Yeah, the very look of a vicious predator hiding in plain sight."
He was not naturally gifted in art since he had always been quite the logical person. He studied science in high school and majored in law in university. He even had a Master’s degree in economics. He was more gifted in realistic and practical things, having absolutely no talent in art.
Boyle grew curious as he asked, "Say, what does an artistic face even look like exactly?"
Cherie opened up the gallery on her phone and randomly found a middle-aged artist's picture. The artist had very long hair and kept a ponytail. He wore a pair of black glasses on his chubby face while focused on his drawing as he sat on the streets. He obviously looked like someone who was gifted in art.
"People who look like that."
