Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 970

In April, Boyle and Sonia had dinner with the Fudd family members.

Sonia was well dressed for the occasion. She donned a lavender, tight-fitting dress with lotus embroidery on it, her black, silky hair tied in a bun. She had an elegant temperament as she was once a daughter from an affluent and well-educated family. Hence, she did not feel anxious when meeting the Fudd family members.

She was gentle, courteous, and well-mannered.

The main reason for their meet-up was to discuss Boyle’s and Cherie’s wedding. Sonia was the one who suggested the dinner.

Sonia told Boyle it was inappropriate for the Fudd family to take the initiative on the wedding as Cher was the lady.

She was proactive in planning their wedding and Heaton was pleased with her anticipation.

Sonia was a reasonable person and totally different from what Heaton expected her to be.

People always judge a book by its cover and Heaton was no exception. How could a kidnapper like Hanson with his terrible behavior be able to marry such a fine woman like Sonia?

Before meeting Sonia, Heaton figured that she might be a polite and reasonable person, but he never expected her to be courteous and capable too.

Boyle’s and Cherie’s wedding was set in early May. The weather in May was mostly sunny with a cool breeze. It was ideal for weddings to be held.

The venue was set in North City.

After confirming the time, Boyle and Cherie had to make many preparations before their wedding as groom and bride.

Cherie was a fairly lazy person. Although they hired a wedding planner to run errands for them, there were a few matters that required them and their parents to decide.

For instance, the bride-to-be’s wedding dress.

Boyle had contacted a world-renowned wedding dress designer to come out with multiple drafts for Cherie to choose from.

Cherie had a hard time deciding on her wedding gown.

One night, Boyle was working in his study when Cherie disturbed him with a stack of design drafts in hand.

“Which design do you think is the best?”

She was rarely indecisive, especially with clothing.

Boyle pulled her onto his lap and rested his chin on her shoulder. He hugged her from behind while looking at the drafts. “I think you’ll look great in any of these.”

Boyle had trouble in deciding one, so he said, “We should just let them tailor all these gowns and buy every single one if you like them all.”

Cherie stared at him with her eyes wide, feeling unbelievable. “They’re more than ten design drafts here.”

“There’s one month left until our wedding. Although these are all haute couture designs, they’re willing to get them done on time if we double their pay.”

Cherie was puzzled. “What’s the point of buying over ten wedding gowns?”

Boyle was confused too. “Girls always wish to become the prettiest woman during their wedding and make their wedding the most memorable, pleasant memory of their lives. You can change into another wedding gown every hour. Don’t you find it enjoyable?”

Cherie pursed her lips. “If I were to change into another wedding gown every hour, I’m certain that I will have a memorable wedding. I will also be dog-tired by the end of the day.”

Boyle was speechless.

He had totally overlooked the fact that his wife was not an ordinary girl. She was an extremely lazy person.

“Quick, choose one!” Cherie exclaimed.

Boyle bent over, smiled, and breathed in her ears. “Let’s get them all. When you’re free, you can put it on at home too.”

Cherie was at loss for words.

In the end, Boyle did buy all the wedding gowns for her. Some of the gowns were worn only once and some were brand new. They were stored in her wardrobe for aesthetic purposes.

In fact, they had a wardrobe that specifically stored Cherie’s wedding gowns. All the gowns were haute couture designed and worth seven figures. It all depended on Cherie’s mood whether she wanted to try it on or not.
