Passionate Devotion: Master Fudd's Beloved Wife novel Chapter 980

Boyle decided to do something meaningful with Cherie before New Year’s Eve approached.

Boyle took Cherie out to wander the streets of New York City first.

He wanted to show her around every corner he had gone to in the last seven years.

They went to a random coffee shop in New York City's Chinatown and sat by the window. They were able to see all kinds of people that were wandering around the streets.

Boyle told her that whenever he was free and since he had no idea what to do, he would come here and reflect on their past.

Sometimes, he would sit on a bench in Times Square. He would look at the blinding lights and the skyscrapers while basking in the sun. However, it seemed that no matter how busy the city was, he would still feel lonely.

Boyle even told her that in the last seven years since their initial break up, he had only been to two weddings.

The first was Hank's wedding, a friend he knew from Harvard and the other was Yuri Shane's wedding, a good friend of his.

Jelly Bean did not know who Yuri was.

Cherie asked, "Who's Yuri?"

Boyle reached out to pull up the zipper of her coat before wrapping a scarf around her neck as he said, "Yuri is a schoolmate I met in Harvard. I wanted to build an empire in New York but I kept running into plenty of speed bumps. It's all thanks to him that the MO Group was able to gain somewhat of a footing in the market here. We would often do business together and since we share plenty of things in common, we became good friends after some time."

Cherie pouted her lips and said, "You made plenty of new friends after breaking up with me, didn't you?"

Boyle could not help but laugh at her jealous look as he said, "I didn't make too many new friends, just a few. I'll introduce you to Yuri next time when we're free."

Cherie turned around and walked forward. She scoffed and said, "I don't want to meet your friends since they're not my friends anyway."
