Jean had a good relationship with Evelyn and Gigi.
As a result, the entire Hamilton family knew her well. When the household staff saw her, they allowed her through without question and even greeted her warmly. It was as if Jean were the future Mrs. Hamilton.
When Jean arrived at the Hamilton family villa, she encountered no obstacles. She was smoothly escorted into Phoenix Villa without anyone stopping her.
The staff knew that Evelyn disliked Nadine and favored Jean. They viewed Jean as a potential future Mrs. Hamilton and believed Nadine would eventually be dismissed. Therefore, they treated Jean with notable deference.
Jean easily made her way to Brad's study. When Lynn received Jean's instructions, she was overwhelmed. After a moment of hesitation, she stammered, "Ms. Sawyer, I don't have Nadine's phone number. How am I supposed to contact her? Besides, it's dangerous for you to be running around like this. What if Mr. Hamilton blames me?"
Lynn was fond of Brad and even considered the possibility of becoming his lover. She didn't want to give him any reason to be displeased with her. If Brad were to blame her for this, she felt it would be deeply unjust.
Understanding Lynn's concerns, Jean felt a surge of irritation.
She clenched her fists to control her temper and said, "How could you think calling Nadine directly is a good idea? If you do that, you'll be fired by tomorrow and won't be able to stay in Janctera City. Find a nurse from her department and have them contact Nadine!"
Although Jean needed Lynn's help, she held her in low regard. If not for Jean's lack of connections in Janctera City, Lynn would never have been close to her or met Brad. Essentially, Lynn was just a tool for Jean. Without her, Lynn was nothing.
