Adam snorted, slamming his walking stick against the floor. "Nope. Of course, I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to a fool who chose to ditch his perfectly fine wife for some two-faced witch. It makes me wonder how someone that blind and stupid managed to make it this far in life!"

At that moment, Adam wanted to crack open Brad's skull just to check what kind of crap was in there. The Hamiltons must've been blessed with good fortune. Otherwise, Brad would've destroyed their family a long time ago.

Adam hollered, "God, if you're listening, please come collect this fool. I can't stand him anymore!"

His words made Brad frown. He set the skewers in his hands down, stood up, and gazed at his grandfather. "Grandpa, you really do enjoy picking fights. I bet you'd be a great pastor with how much you seem to know about people's sins. It's a shame you never went to church!"

Noticing that Adam was about to blow his top off, Brad hurriedly added, "Grandpa, please, just get to the point. Don't beat around the bush. It's exhausting! I'd rather you just directly say what you mean."

Brad was in a foul mood. He had tried to get closer to Nadine, but all he got was a cold shoulder, leaving him feeling pretty sour. Brad was currently thinking of ways to make Nadine apologize to him.
