Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 502

Seeing that Nadine had yet to enjoy her meal, Sean wanted to help out.

Nadine sat down, smiling as she enjoyed the food Sean handed to her. "Our little Sean is so amazing, knowing how to do this. You must be the kid in class who earns the most gold stars."

Nadine had raised Sean very well. He never caused trouble in school, often helped his classmates, and earned everyone's admiration. Even his teachers frequently messaged Nadine, praising Sean.

Adam quickly chimed in. "I almost forgot to mention. When I picked Sean up yesterday, the teacher gave me a certificate for his excellent performance in school." As Adam spoke of Sean, his smile was as bright as ever.

Hearing this, Nadine was full of pride. She hugged Sean and planted a big kiss on his cheek. "My precious baby, you're so wonderful. You're truly my best treasure."

Being praised by Nadine, Sean lifted his chin proudly, his face full of satisfaction.

Sitting there watching this warm and harmonious scene unfold, Brad couldn't find a way to join the conversation. All he knew was which kindergarten Sean attended. Beyond that, he knew nothing—not even which class Sean was in.

Adam, Nadine, and Sean were chatting happily, immersed in their joyful conversation. As for Brad, he was like an outsider. He sat there awkwardly, unable to fit into their little circle.

If it weren't for the food distracting him from the discomfort, he might've just left.

Thinking back on the past six years with Nadine, Brad suddenly realized that he was dispensable in this family. Nadine was the one person they couldn't do without.

It was no wonder the house had been eerily quiet lately. Brad was the head of the house, and none of the maids dared to disturb him. That only made him feel lonely and cold.
