Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 554

Could a husband not treat his wife to a meal? Brad was extremely jealous of Sebastian, who was easily able to chat with Nadine during the meal.

That said, Brad knew very well that if he had gone over there, the meal would've been ruined. Besides, he would also have upset Nadine in the process. That wasn't the result he wanted.

When Nadine heard his words, she found them absolutely hilarious. She couldn't help but mock him in return. "We're married? Wow, Mr. Hamilton. Your memory is truly something. After more than six years, you finally remembered that we're a couple. Your reaction time is unbelievably slow, you know.

"Since your memory is failing, let me remind you of something. We're in the middle of a divorce, Mr. Hamilton. Yet, you still say we're a couple. No offense, but you should hurry up and get your brain checked. If you wait any longer, it might be too late to fix whatever's wrong in there."

Because she was angry, Nadine's words were filled with sarcasm and ridicule. She had put up all her defenses during this conversation.

But to Brad, seeing Nadine like this made her seem inexplicably adorable and lively. It made him involuntarily look at her a few more times.

"You're right, there's something wrong with my brain. So, would you mind taking me to the hospital, Mrs. Hamilton?" Brad asked.

Didn't she say there was something wrong with his brain? Then she could take him to the hospital. It would be better than watching her laugh and chat with another man.

Nadine felt like she was going crazy. Looking at the man sitting in the car with a half smile, her face was full of confusion.

Wasn't Brad supposed to have a bad temper? Why wasn't he getting angry after hearing all that? Not only was he not angry, but he even smiled and asked her to take him to the hospital.

What the heck? He must really be sick—seriously sick, at that.
