Brad looked at the drawings and frowned. What on earth was Nadine doing? She was the one who refused to let Sean stay with him, but couldn't she see how much the child longed for his father? That drawing clearly depicted Sean's desire to be with him!
He couldn't just let this slide. He needed to have a serious conversation with Nadine. The boy deserved a complete family.
Cameron noticed him leaning over and hurriedly turned off his phone. Embarrassed, he apologized. "I'm sorry, Mr. Hamilton. I won't do this again."
Having worked with Brad for seven years, he was familiar with all his mannerisms. When Brad frowned, it only meant one thing—he was upset. And an upset Brad was terrifying. Cameron certainly didn't want to get himself into trouble.
Cameron was sweating bullets when Brad casually said, "It's fine. Keep scrolling."
Cameron was dumbstruck. What was wrong with Brad? Had he woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning?
When Cameron stared at Brad instead of his own phone, Brad kicked his seat. "I said to keep scrolling!"
It dawned on Cameron that Brad wanted to look at his phone. But why? He slowly pulled out his phone and started scrolling through the news instead of going back to social media.
Realizing that the content on the screen wasn't Nadine's social media, Brad instantly lost interest. "Why do you have Nadine added on Facebook?"
Cameron, who had been enjoying the gossip online, was suddenly jolted back to reality. All of a sudden, the news articles didn't seem so appealing anymore. He set his phone down and turned to Brad with an obsequious smile.
