Please Give Me Another Chance, Mrs. Hamilton novel Chapter 676

Daniel's face turned beet red, and he was so enraged he could hardly speak.

As a man of principle, he couldn't bring himself to look at the scene unfolding before him. As such, he barked an order to one of the housekeepers. "Get her some clothes! This is utterly unacceptable!"

Having navigated the business world for years, he could tell that Jean was up to no good. The only silver lining in this disaster was that at least Jean was the only one standing there naked—both Brad and Nadine were nowhere to be seen.

The housekeepers at Clover Villa immediately rushed into a nearby guest room, grabbed a blanket, and wrapped it around Jean, forcibly pulling her toward the stairs.

Jean wasn't going down without a fight. She struggled and kicked, refusing to let them take her away. "Get off me! Don't touch me!"

But her words fell on deaf ears. The burly housekeepers continued dragging her down the stairs. Struggling under their weight and the blanket she was wrapped in, Jean couldn't break free.

Meanwhile, Evelyn couldn't pretend not to know about the commotion upstairs. By the time she rushed to the scene and saw Jean making a fool of herself, it felt as if the ground had shifted beneath her.

Evelyn stared at Jean in disbelief, her eyes full of confusion. Didn't she already tell Jean what to do? How did things end up like this?

Evelyn glanced down the hallway behind Jean, expecting to see Brad or Nadine, but neither of them was anywhere to be found. In that instant, a sinking feeling began to form in the pit of her stomach.

Evelyn grasped Jean's hands tightly and demanded, "What are you doing? What have you done?" Only Jean understood the meaning behind her words. Helpless, she glanced at Evelyn and burst into tears.
