Brad had met Jennifer before and knew about her relationship with Nadine. So, when he saw her being stopped at the hospital entrance by the security guards, he immediately recognized her as Nadine's mother.

Since she was Nadine's mother, she would surely know about Nadine's past. There were many things that could be more directly answered by asking her rather than having Cameron investigate.

Brad watched as Jennifer wandered aimlessly along the street after being chased out of the hospital. He then had Colby pull the car up beside her. Colby rolled down the window and called out politely, "Excuse me, are you Madam Stein?"

Jennifer glanced at Colby, who was dressed finely, with impatience. "What does it matter to you if I am or not? Stop trying to cozy up to me. Don't think I don't know what you're up to. Aren't you just trying to hit on me under the guise of asking for directions? Get lost. I'm not in the mood."

Jennifer scoffed. She saw him as nothing more than some lackey, bowing and scraping like a lapdog. He was definitely no one of importance, much less wealthy. Did this kind of person really think he could flirt with her?

Seeing her act so impolitely, Colby frowned slightly and glanced over at Brad. Jennifer popped out of nowhere and thought she was someone important. Where did she get that confidence?

"Old lady, why don't you take a good look at yourself in the mirror before talking? If you don't have a mirror, a puddle would do just fine. With how old and worn you look, flirting with you is the last thing on my mind.
