Brad didn't receive the reaction he expected from Nadine. Instead, he heard the teacher calling out, "The Hamiltons, please come over here. You're in the third row. Now, please decide the order for your family's lineup."
Nadine was still fuming from her earlier spat with Brad. She looked at him as if he were an idiot before reluctantly heading toward the third row assigned by the teacher.
After observing other families' attempts in the competition, Brad had already decided on their lineup. He placed Sean in the first position, Nadine in the second, and himself at the end.
However, Nadine disagreed and insisted on going first. "I don't agree with your arrangement. I want to be in the first position."
Having just clashed with Brad, she was in no mood to deal with him again. Nadine feared that she'd snap at him if she had to face him directly.
So, her plan was to place herself in the first spot, with Sean in the second, and Brad last. That way, she wouldn't have to face him or make any physical contact. It was perfect.
In response to her challenge, Brad replied, "Rejected. Your lineup is invalid. This game requires us to go by height. The one in the middle has to be the second tallest."
Sean chimed in to back Brad up. "Mommy, Dad's right. We watched other families play, and Dad's setup is the best. Or… do you not want us to win?"
Brad had no interest in the tension brewing between Brad and Nadine. He just wanted to win the game. The teacher had mentioned that the family that won three rounds would get a mystery prize. He wanted to win it for Keira.
