After clinking glasses, Tyler took a sip of his drink and glanced past Nadine at Brad, who was sitting across from her. However, his words were directed at Nadine. "Nad, I heard you finally got divorced. Congratulations on being single again!

"By the way, do you think I still have a chance to be with you? I know I messed up before and let you down, but I genuinely regret it. If you're willing to give me another shot, I promise I won't let you down again!"

He was well aware that Brad was present. In fact, that was part of the reason he walked over and spoke so boldly—to get under Brad's skin. After all, just because he had kissed Nadine once, Brad had not only attacked him but nearly ruined his family.

Tyler was aware that the score between them couldn't be settled so easily. However, it was a personal grudge between him and Brad, and it had nothing to do with the Hamilton family. He wouldn't seek revenge on the Hamiltons as his problem was solely with Brad.
