Hearing Juliet's voice, Mikayla rolled her eyes. She felt like she was worrying about Juliet for nothing.
Juliet would reply with ten words to Mikayla's one word.
Mikayla asked, "Don't you have a date today?"
Juliet lifted the mask and threw it into the trash can, massaging her collagen-rich face.
"Brantley has been busy lately. He works overtime and socializes every day... I just stopped by his office this afternoon and came back. What's wrong? Why do you suddenly care so much about me?"
"Tell me, what's your intention?" Juliet said threateningly.
Mikayla thought for a while.
She said, "I saw Brantley today—"
Before Mikayla could finish her words, Juliet took it over. "Xosa is small. That's common."
Mikayla heard Juliet walking in slippers on the phone.
Mikayla said, "I saw Brantley walking with Mr. Callahan's daughter, Sienna, whom I had seen at the parties before. Maybe I was wrong, but Sienna seems to have a crush on Brantley..."
"What? Doesn't she look innocent and cute? How dare she fall in love with my man!" shouted Juliet.
Mikayla took the phone away. Juliet's angry voice was really loud.
"Take care! When you are dating Brantley, be rational, or you'll be easily deceived!" Mikayla reminded.
She didn't want Juliet to follow in her footsteps.
It took Mikayla a lot of time to get out of the relationship with Jaxon. At first, in the dead of night, she would still think about her past with Jaxon, but she could restrain herself.
However, Juliet paid too much attention to love. When Mikayla saw Brantley and Sienna walking together today, her first reaction was to be afraid that Juliet would be hurt.
"Damn it! How could I be rational? I can't wait to rush to Mr. Callahan's house and question that bitch!" Juliet walked back and forth in her bathroom, even forgetting that she had come in to wash her face.
Juliet thought, 'How bold of her to do that!'
Mikayla pursed her lips. "Juliet, maybe you should observe Brantley's reaction."
Mikayla believed that if a man's will was strong enough, he could handle such a matter without having to make his girlfriend come forward at last.
Some men even stood aside watching their wives and mistresses fighting recklessly, not knowing whom to help!
After all, it was a man's problem.
"Mikayla, do you mean I should see Brantley's attitude before proceeding to the next step?" Juliet asked.
"Yes! Maybe Sienna has a crush on Brantley because she doesn't know that he has a girlfriend. If you go to her in a hurry and find there's nothing wrong with them, Brantley will hardly be promoted to deputy mayor. After all, Mr. Callahan's attitude is very important." Mikayla didn't talk too deeply with Juliet but just gave some simple examples so that Juliet could understand it clearly.
"Mikayla, you're a genius! Why didn't I think of that? Fortunately, you reminded me in time. I love you!" Juliet kissed the phone again and again, and finally said, "I know what to do. I will observe Brantley's attitude recently and won't directly ask him about it."
Mikayla said, "That's it. Bye, I'm home."
The car had already driven directly into the villa.
Mikayla got out of the car and walked into the villa, seeing Carlos dressed in casual clothes on the sofa watching TV.
It was a political channel.
Hearing the footsteps, Carlos turned off the TV. "You're back! How's the food?"
