Chapter 50 

After they finished their meal, Mikayla and Juliet went shopping. They shopped from Universal Mall to Vita Nova Plaza: Over the years, Mikayla hadn’t fully grasped the Lindstrom family’s preferences, but she had a decent idea. They liked high–end items. Mikayla carefully selected the gifts, hoping Juliet would make a good impression on her first visit to the Lindstrom family. With some free time left, they walked into Mirandum Lingeries, a luxury lingerie store. Recognizing them as VIP customers, the store manager warmly introduced them to the new collections. 

“Mikayla, this set of lingerie is perfect for you. Should I give it to you as a wedding gift?” Juliet said with a mischievous grin. 

The pink leopard print lingerie was a mix of leopard spots and black lace, making it very seductive. The thin shoulder straps were decked out with rhinestones, giving them an elegant touch. The underwear was even bolder, just two tiny strings. 

Just looking at it made Mikayla blush and her heart race. “No way I’m wearing that, she thought. “You can have it! She blushed and walked toward another section. 

Juliet smiled secretly and said to the shop assistant, “Please wrap it. Her size. “Carlos, you’re getting a treat. It’s a blatant temptation she exclaimed silently, 

They also picked out two matching pajama sets and had them sent to the Salvatore manor and the Klein residence. As they left the store, Juliet eagerly dragged Mikayla to the next shop. 

While browsing clothes, Juliet said, “Mikayla, Xavier is coming back for your wedding” 

“Did the military base approve his leave?” Mikayla asked, signaling a shop assistant to bring her a blue down jacket 

“Yes. He’s delighted. I don’t know why, but this time the leave application went smoothly and quickly. Once he returns, Dad will surely often go crazy Juliet poured. 

Juliet and Xavier had been close with Mikayla since they were kids. They were like family. When Mikayla was supposed to marry Jaxon, Xavier couldn’t get leave from the military. As they linked arms and were about to leave the store, Mikayla suddenly stopped. The woman from that night was walking toward them, with a grim–faced Kashton by her side.

Deidre had her hair in a ponytail and wore no makeup. Her skin wasn’t perfect but looked healthy. She wore a faint smile. “Mikayla, we meet again.” “Ms. Taillon, long time no see, Mikayla replied.

“Do you think he’ll marry you?” Mikayla shot back. She and Carlos hadn’t announced their wedding date, so there were plenty of rumors but no

Hoping to provoke Mikayla, Deidre ended up embarrassing herself instead. “We’ll see about that!” she exclaimed 

Kashton stood still, torn between Mikayla and Deidre, Offending either side would not end well

Mikayla didn’t want to argue. Suddenly, her phone rang. Seeing the caller 10, she signaled Juliet to go into the store while she looked for a quiet 

spot to answer. 

“Hello, Mrs. Ludwig. Mikayla and Selena previously exchanged phone numbers. 

“Mikayla, it’s me! A sweet and soft voice sounded. 

Mikayla was taken aback for a moment. “Natasha, what’s up?”
