Jenna was floored, "How did you get back so fast? It hasn’t even been an hour!"
"Where's Gordon?"
"In the study..."
Jenna had no clue what Sophie was planning, but judging by her demeanor, it wasn’t anything good.
Sure enough, Sophie made a beeline for Gordon's bedroom.
The maid, who was tidying up, looked surprised to see Sophie and blurted out, "Mrs. Costello, the master’s in the study, you could... Oh! Mrs. Costello! What are you doing?"
Sophie started rummaging through the room, leaving the maid dumbfounded, "Mrs. Costello... What’s going on?"
"Where's the medicine that was here earlier?"
Sophie pointed at the coffee table, and the maid hesitantly replied, "I think the master threw it away."
"Threw it away? Where?"
The maid glanced at the trash can, and before she could react, Sophie reached into the trash without hesitation.
Jenna arrived at the door just in time to see this bizarre scene, gasping, "Sister-in-law, what kind of habit is this?!"
Sophie quickly found the pills, didn’t waste any time, grabbed them, and dashed out of the room.
"Sophie! Sophie!"
Jenna had no idea what Sophie was up to, but she did her best to keep up with Sophie’s brisk pace.
In the study, Rick was briefing Gordon when they suddenly heard a loud 'bang.'
"Who’s there!"
Rick instinctively shielded Gordon, but upon seeing Sophie, he froze, "Mrs. Costello?"
Sophie ignored Rick and quickly walked up to Gordon, smiling at him, "Mr. Gordon?"
"What..."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
