Revenge is Best Served After Reborn (James) novel Chapter 1103

Sophie twisted open her water bottle, took a quick swig, and then glared at Odie. “I heard folks who race cars a lot get concussions easily. Mr. Odie, you better watch out when you sleep at night. Wouldn't want you to suddenly kick the bucket.”

“Don’t worry, I’ll live a long, long life, probably longer than you and Colby.”

‘Ding ding—’

Odie glanced at his phone. It was Jonah calling.

“See, I told you, less than twenty minutes and I’d have him,” Odie said confidently as he answered the call. “If you've got him, bring him over right away. No need to waste time calling me.”

“...Boss, we didn’t get him.”

“What? Then why are you calling me?”

“We couldn’t catch him, but we did figure out who he is.”

“Who?”

Odie’s eyes narrowed, and when Jonah said the name, his face darkened.

“Mr. Odie, didn’t you say you could catch him? Where is he?” Sophie asked, noticing Odie's sudden change in demeanor.

Odie hung up, cleared his throat, and said, “We haven’t caught him yet, but it won’t be long. You go ahead and park the car in the garage.”

He tossed the car keys to Sophie.

“Me? Park the car?”

Before Sophie could react, the car sent to pick up Odie pulled up.

“Boss, Marco sent me to get you,” the thug said, opening the car door for Odie.

Odie grunted and got in.
