Odie thought it over carefully and found some sense in it.
"Mr. Odie, I’ve said my piece. Can I go back to sleep now?"
"Go ahead."
Odie waved his hand dismissively.
Just as Sophie was about to leave, Odie suddenly said, "Wait a second!"
"What now?"
"Did Elodie give you the share transfer agreement for Burke International?"
Sophie replied coolly, "Yes, she did."
"I bought the shares of Burke International."
Meanwhile, after leaving the Minton family, Timothy was picked up by a black sedan.
The once meek Timothy's expression turned icy, his eyes filled with disdain. "Sophie is so easy to fool."
The driver, lowering his cap, said, "The boss told you not to underestimate her. That woman is cunning and might already suspect you."
"Would she let me leave if she suspected me? I don't buy it."
Timothy scoffed, "Don’t make Sophie out to be some kind of genius. If it weren’t for Colby paving the way, she wouldn’t be where she is today."
"You're young and might not see things clearly. People are hard to read; who knows what Sophie is thinking? All you need to do is gain her trust and find a way to be a mole."
Hearing this, Timothy frowned, "Don't lecture me like you’re my elder. Remember, I'm your boss!"
"I'm looking out for you!"
"I don’t need you to!"
Timothy said coldly, "Just do your job and don’t overstep."

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
