Everyone unanimously decided to follow Colby's suggestion.
In just a short while, tasks were fully delegated.
The night was deep and silent.
Adler, driving with Jenna, sped towards the Tredgold family estate.
After parking, Jenna noticed Adler hesitated to leave the car.
"Don't worry, I'm right here beside you."
Jenna took Adler's hand.
She understood Adler's concern.
If it turned out Wesley was indeed the leader behind The Silent Shadows, it could very well spark a war.
By then, they would have to stand against Wesley.
No matter what, that was Adler's father.
"Jenna, I never thought this day would come."
Sitting in the car, Adler showed a look of desolation he had never revealed before.
He had always known his father didn't love him, nor did he love Adler's mother; to Wesley, this family meant nothing.
He didn't even truly understand his father. If it weren't for Elodie's arrival at the Aldridge Estate today, revealing her suspicions, he wouldn't have thought his father could be involved with The Silent Shadows.
"I want to ask you, if... I mean, if your father is really involved with The Silent Shadows, what will you do?"
Jenna looked at Adler with concern.
Colby was her brother, but Wesley was also Adler's father.
Blood was blood.
"I... don't know."
Adler shook his head softly.
To him, being the young master of the Tredgold family didn't matter.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
