Sophia tapped to open Facebook. Shortly after, she saw Drake, who hardly posted anything, upload a photo in which Sophia wiped Bonnie's mouth corner and showed the maternal love.
Above the photo was a line -- "Life is beautiful, and I feel it now. Love you both, my honey and sweetie."
It had raised a mighty uproar online. Several company owners left their comments below, and most flattered Drake.
Only then did Sophia understand what Chloe had meant. Clearly, Drake used another way to fight back against Rashad.
"Do you like the picture?" Drake asked after she kept silent for a while.
Sophia showed him the photo. "Drake, don't you think you are too babyish?"
Drake retorted carelessly, "How come? I posted the photo of my wife and daughter. What's wrong with it?"
"You know what I mean, Drake. Do you think I cannot tell why you've done it?"
"So what? Do you want others to misunderstand you've cheated on me?"
Sophia was taken aback.
She had to admit that she hadn't realized this problem. Drake's reminder made her frown.
No matter what purpose Rashad had, from outsiders' points of view, Sophia and Rashad were too close, which was questionable.
"Papa, did you shoot the photo?" Bonnie asked, looking surprised.
"Right." Drake was holding Bonnie in his arms the whole time. "Do you like it?"
Bonnie nodded repeatedly. "Mommy, can we make this photo bigger and put it in my own bedroom in the future?"
Sophia stared at her tenderly. "Of course. I'll get it done tomorrow. OK?"
"Great!"
Bonnie clapped happily.
Sophia glared at Drake when her gaze fell on him.
Rubbing his nose, Drake said, "Sophia, don't you think you have double standards to treat Bonnie and me?"
"I'm glad you've realized it. This shall not happen again," Sophia warned him.
However, Drake could tell she wasn't as angry as she had shown.
Thinking of Rashad, Drake sneered. 'What Rashad is doing clearly undermines Sophia's principal. He'll end up shooting himself in the foot.'
After arriving home, Bonnie yawned. "Papa, Mommy, I'm too sleepy. I want to go to bed now."
When Sophia didn't pay attention, she whispered to Drake, "Papa, just go for it! I look forward to having a sister or a brother next year."
Drake was amused and pinched her tiny nose dotingly. "OK. Be patient, Bonnie. I still wanna enjoy staying with you without other children."
"But you must work hard, OK?"
Drake could tell Bonnie trusted him a lot, feeling a sense of guilt. He wondered if it was right to lie to his daughter.
Bonnie didn't pretend to be sleepy. Shortly after she lay on the bed, she fell asleep.
When Sophia was about to check her phone, Drake pressed her with his body.
"What are you doing?" She frowned, seemingly unhappy about his behavior.
"You know what I'm doing."
