Isra POV
I walked behind my mate with my hands clasped in front of me as we made our way to the holding cells. After hearing news that some still wanted us overthrown and gone, my mate had gone eerily quiet not showing any signs of emotion. I was frightened by his silence because he was also holding his powers down deeply because I didn't feel his energy by the time we got down here. I thought back to our fussy daughter who must be harassing poor Sable by now wondering where mommy and daddy have gone. Cerberus said it was imperative that we make an example out of them for the rest of the pack to follow. I felt bad because after finally healing our pack we must kill again for the sake of it all. "Mate why are you so troubled?" His velvety voice called as he turned around and I walked flat into him. He wrapped his arms around me and forced my chin up to look him in his now glowing red eyes. "Nothing my love." I respond trying to look away. "Mate please you must understand the pack must fall in line under us fully now that Tari is here." He said stroking my hair. "I just thought we'd finally be happy now." I sighed leaning up on my toes to kiss him. Luke forced open the steel door leading into the holding cells. I saw three people I'd never really introduced myself to. A tall lean woman with red hair and pale green eyes was seated behind one set of bars. The other cell held two men who were covered in scars and dirt but looked identical to each other both brunette males appeared to be in their late twenties. "Speak fools!"Cerberus roared. I saw the female raise her eyes to face me. "I will not serve a Luna with that horrid dark skin on her." She sneered to me. I turned my head to face my mate so we now made eye contact. I saw his glowing beautifully and reflecting mine that had now turned silver. My sharp silver gazed turned to her. " I am a Luna however. Not only, I am also Princess Luna, goddess of the night." I said my voice echoing from deep within me. "You would question the gods?" I frowned at her now shaking and terrified face. "No God can look like you!" She wailed at me. I shook my head disappointed. I raised my arm and turned my palm to the bars that separated her from me and ice cased the bars and they shattered to the ground. "You've spoken enough. Now we fight!" I snarled at her as she started at me with wide eyes and an open mouth. Tears rolled down her face as I shifted and launched myself at her where my fangs met her throat and blood coated my mouth
