The Good Girl's Revenge novel Chapter 122

Meredith didn't answer. Parker's words made her realize there was something fishy.

Only then did she realize that, in fact, Parker had already treated her well beyond what a friend should have.

Could it be...

"Parker, we are good friends. I will bother you in the future even you think I'm obnoxious."

Meredith euphemistically said that she was grateful for Parker, but she didn't love him after all, and she could not fall in love with anyone else at the moment.

Parker would find someone better.

Parker was such a smart person, and how could he not understand that Meredith was silently drawing the line? His heart ached a little, but he still smiled and replied, "Of course, when the child is born, I'll be the foster father."

Meredith smiled. When Parker heard her chuckle, he felt bitter and comforting at the same time. "Alright, then. I'll solve your mother's problem as soon as possible."

Meredith chatted a few more words with Parker before hanging up.

...

Meredith took the things home and then went to the hospital for a routine prenatal examination.

Along the way, she was a little absent-minded, thinking about Chloe and Derek from time to time.

When she arrived at the hospital, Meredith was about to enter when someone called her from behind. "Meredith, why are you here?"

Leo saw Meredith from afar. Although she was dressed very simple and not out of the ordinary, she just attracted his attention.

Just as somebody said, "The best is what you can't get." Especially after Meredith rejected him a few times. Leo always had a bit of a tangle in his heart.

In his opinion, Meredith belongs to him. After all, they were once engaged, and she used to be loyal to him. She just couldn't ignore him like this.

When Meredith saw that it was him, she gave him a dirty look. She had seen through the true face of this man long ago. The last time he came to harass her, and he even passed the buck to her. She was annoyed by such a coward and hypocrite.

"Why can't it be me? You don't own this hospital."

Meredith was not polite at all. She was going to do the prenatal examination with a test list in her hand.

Leo got the flak, but he was neither discouraged nor angry. Instead, he leaned over and said, "I'm just talking to you, you don't have to speak harshly! What's wrong with you? I can introduce you to a doctor."

Meredith looked at him ironically. Perhaps Leo had forgotten how embarrassed he was when kicked out of the hospital by Derek last time.

"No need." Meredith ignored him and was about to leave when Leo suddenly grabbed her hand and snatched the list from her.

Meredith was shocked and wanted to get it back, but it was already a step too late. Leo saw the contents at a glance. Pregnancy test?

His face was slightly distorted. Meredith was pregnant. Whose child was it? Was it the man from that day?

"Meredith, are you pregnant? You don't have any self-respect?"

Leo had a feeling that his belonging had been tarnished. He had never touched Meredith, but she had an affair with another man, and now she was even pregnant.

"What does it have to do with you? This is my privacy. Please show some respect!"
