The Heart Left Behind (Cole and Yvonne) novel Chapter 202

Trembling, Lorraine propped herself up and gasped for air to no avail.

I could feel her hands slithering up my shoulders, rubbing against them as she murmured, "I'm burning up, Cole. I know you're Cole."

She leaned toward my face and began peppering kisses on my lips. "You can help me, right? Please help me."

Grabbing her hand, I forced her to meet my gaze and said, "Look at me. Do you know who I am? Do you know what you're doing?"

"I know," Lorraine muttered, her voice suddenly dropping an octave. "Why wouldn't I?"

She tilted her head back and drew in ragged breaths, as though it would ease her condition.

"Please," she implored.

My heart skipped a beat. I was already aroused. She was in a daze, teasing me without breaking eye contact.

"Help me, please," she murmured.

Sensing the desire in her gaze, I pressed a firm kiss on her lips. "Do you know what you're doing?"

"I do."

"Lorraine…" I sighed, running my hands all over her body.

She seemed even more voluptuous than before. As I pinned her down, my breathing grew ragged. I could sense that we were both on the brink of losing our rationality, but I could barely control myself. My grip on her tightened, and she couldn't help but gasp.

"That hurts…"

Lorraine threw her head back, sweat dripping off her body. I relished her firm skin, a sensation I couldn't describe—it was like seeing an oasis in a desert.

The dazed expression she wore, despite bearing the pain, encouraged me. As her body temperature subsided, I was also completely stripped of my rationale.
