East Harbor was not a safe place. Besides, we were by a port. There were many unknown people coming in and out. Lorraine would be unsafe being alone.
"I'll get a few bodyguards to go with you."
"Get them to look for Xavier. Why should they come with me?" Lorraine replied firmly.
"Keep in touch with me at all times."
Lorraine and I went our separate ways, taking each the left and right sides of the East Harbor airport.
I had no idea how Xavier snuck onto the plane.
When Yvonne called, I was still looking for him. I answered the phone irritatedly. "What's up?"
"Did Xavier go to find you? He's still so young. How could you let him go on his own?" Yvonne was panting. She was probably running.
I did not want to argue with her, so I said, "He came here on his own."
Just when I was about to hang up, Yvonne said, "I'm going to East Harbor right now. Tell me where you are."
Was she seriously playing this trick again?
"I'll find him. What are you coming over for?"
"I'm already boarding. Cole, I don't care what you think of me. Xavier is my son." Yvonne hung up without giving me a chance to retort.
"Oh, so now, you think he's your son." I took a deep breath to try to calm myself down. I got Murphy to immediately contact Yvonne's assistant.
This place was new to her, and she would be unsafe here. Since she had already told me about it, I could not just leave her be.
After I instructed Murphy to deal with it, I called Jonas. Jonas told me that Xavier had taken his watch with him.
